I could hear Oscar saying: 'Canelo is a man of his word, he promised [2016] he'll fight Golovkin and he doesn't f-ck around'! :OhYes:

Golovkin won't get Canelo, Saunders, Eubank Jr or Jacobs too soon if he continues to look like Hulk in the ring. He should have a plan to lure these guys to fight him by acting hurt, going on the back foot and look exhausted in his next fight/s against his mandatory challengers.

I think 2022 would be better, as Golovkin will be 40, which is a nice round age. :TU:

38yo Golovkin still punches the fvck out of Alvarez. I agree, he needs to fall over or stagger bad from a punch in one fight, then throw half powered body shots in the next and then drop a decision in the third fight. He'll still keep his value as "the" name to have on the resume but will get the fights he wants. I am, however, starting to think that, except dealing with DeLaHoya, K2 are being too difficult to negotiate with for Golovkin's own good.

GGG has 3 major belts, so I assume he's the A-side fighter against BJS, Jr and Jacobs. If he can't get one of these guys till the end of the year his team should really consider to come up with a luring plan to look 'weak' vs his mandatory challengers.

Get over it.

Canelo wants to fight at 154. Why the hell should he be forced to move up to 160 if he's comfortable at a lower weight?

Who are any of you to tell a fighter to put on additional weight and challenge a bigger man?

I didn't see anyone here lambasting Gigi when he expressed no interest in going up against Andre Ward at 168.

Canelo is focusing now on junior middleweight. He's only 25.

When the time comes and his body naturally develops into a true 160 pounder, the bout might happen.

But Canelo doesn't have to appease armchair fans who demand certain matches without regard to weight or financial terms.

That is an utter bullsh*t. On multiple ocasions Golovkin took a pay cut to allow opponent's purse to be higher. He is willing to go to the U.K. How are they being difficult ??? By not wanting to pay $4 mil to Saunders ???

Who is forcing him to move up, he did it himself, 155 is MW not JMW, he said he would fight GGG after fighting cotto, that was part of the agreement to allow that fight to happen, you can't be that stupid surely, it's a plain and simple duck, how much will he make fighting smith compared to GGG, you should pull your head out of his red freckle

Calm ya self down, Charlie. I may be wrong, and I'm pretty fucken sure I said "I'm startng to think that K2" not "I'm 100% certain that Golovkin is", so, just to reiterate, fuckyouoooo!

Have you been living in a cave. Canelo is weighing in as heavy and heavier than GGG on the night for his fights, fighting at 154 or catchweight.

He also said he'd fight GGG at MW, then punked out.
