Parsons has hinted for months that Kell might be better elsewhere....

Whatever is going on, why doesn't Kell just fight? He's never gonna build momentum without getting in the ring. The management of his career is atrocious. If Eddie can build other fighters you'd imagine Kell would be easy - has a pretty big boxing city behind him, no other massive Sheffield stars at the moment, Kell has a fluid style when he puts it together and appears pretty marketable to me.... Very strange.

They put all their eggs in one basket with the Khan fight. No other fight is PPV worthy and Kell has a big contract that needs fulfilling. Eddie is not in the business of losing money.

No matter what happens with Brook's career,IMO its one of the most waste of talents ive seen in my time watching boxing, his 1 great win in the states against Porter isnt enough to merit his ability, shame because he's one of the finest fighters from the UK of all time i feel,i'd put him in with any WW in the world and give him a chance

Agree thing is though I actually felt he lost the Porter fight by one round but still after the final belt went not knowing the result I thought he can move up to light middle and do well.

But yeah his career has been wasted he could have been an elite p4p fighter by now.

Here's Vargas talking about the situation.

http://www.BS.com/video-jessie ... er--106027

He has definitely signed his end and a press conference was supposed to happen on June 20th he had to cancel flights to the UK.

Balls in Kells court now if this fight falls through I mean wow I never fought Kells career for the past two years could possible become even more of a joke.......

Why would he move up to light middle? Welterweight is the best division.

I get the banter on here and I'm a bit of a brook fan, I don't think anyone's avoiding him. I also don't think he has any reason to avoid anyone either, boxing's just a bit shit sometimes.... Its gonna take a good boxer to beat him though :-).

I thought Porter just nicked it too but it did seem most people on here thought Brook was the deserved winner

This would be a decent fight to launch Sky Sports new boxing season, I would give it a miss if it was PPV, stacked card or not

One thing that really winds me up is how Hearn talks about that fight and how Brook schooled Porter it was a decision in a close fight.

You should see the size of Brook in the flesh. how he has made Welter for so long is remarkable weight wise he will be a better fighter at light middle.

I remember it mainly being a clinch fest. With Brook landing the odd eye catching 1-2's, etc. Everytime Porter tried to work Brook tied him up. I'm surprised Kell didn't have points deducted with the fight occuring in the states. Kell was and is the better 'boxer' of the two but it was no schooling like some have claimed.

True it wasn't a great fight. The last time I was awake for a U.S. Fight too.

The really frustrating thing is at that point fans had waited ages for Brook to fight a legit top fighter, then he shows he belongs at that level.

We were all buzzing thinking Brook was going to get big fights but he has just wasted more of his prime years. Hearn is a significant factor in this.... However he has definately delivered with Vargas who has signed his end of the deal......if this fight isn't announced within the next two weeks I'm very doubtful its on.

If I was brook id head over to the states. He's in the absolute money division. But for some reason, Hearn can't deliver the big paydays.

I really thought after the last bozo brook bowled over that he looked at odds with Hearn when talking about his next fight in the ring.

Hearn seems intent on keeping his fighters record intact. When in reality these crazy fucks that get into the ring just want big paydays, regardless of their precious 0.

Brook didn't school Porter at all. I thought he was a clear winner, but IMO it could've been as close as 7-5 and there wasn't a great deal in the rounds.

Kell got loads of abuse on here when the experts were claiming there was no way he would fight that beast Shawn Porter. Nothing has changed. Calm down ladies :shame:

You should send Kell on here instead of the likes of yourself feeling the need to defend his honour at every turn.

This will bomb on ppv. Don't think it will even sell well at a stadium. Will have to be a major undercard.

Camp Eddie is probably waiting to see if GGG-Jr is a goer before committing to anything on this.
