So? Wilder-Povetkin was ordered Nov 2015. We are in July, practically....who won?dickbelden wrote:http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/exclusi ... ph-parker/
AJ will make at least two "title fights" before mandatory...
And I do not understand why Parker, after one recognisable opponent (went the distance), became mandatory for title?

He was mandatory before Takam as well lol. Who else would you put above him?bigman1968 wrote:So? Wilder-Povetkin was ordered Nov 2015. We are in July, practically....who won?dickbelden wrote:http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/exclusi ... ph-parker/

Re: AJ VS PARKER DEADLINE
This will be a good fight, can't wait
Re: AJ VS PARKER DEADLINE
This is the 2nd real challenge for Joshua and much harder challenge then Whyte fight.
They should slot one fight before this happens at the end of the year, better on the same card. I'd like to see Joshua Pulev personally.

Takam was a final eliminator.asdfjkl wrote:He was mandatory before Takam as well lol. Who else would you put above him?bigman1968 wrote:So? Wilder-Povetkin was ordered Nov 2015. We are in July, practically....who won?dickbelden wrote:http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/exclusi ... ph-parker/

He has until the year anniversary of beating Martin to defend against Parker unless either guy loses in the meantime.
Joshua will have a voluntary beforehand on a date as yet to be agreed between Sky and Showtime.
As mentioned in a previous thread expect his next fight to be a American.

According to Dean Lonergan from Duco :
"Eddie Hearn himself was saying it's either November, December for Joseph or March, April. It doesn't worry us either way. We've got our shot guaranteed and it's going to happen".
"Joseph fights on July 21. We'll probably fight another time after that in late September, early October, and then the mandatory period comes up November 19. Any day after that, Joseph would be ready."
"How is AJ going to go when he's eating Joseph's jab all night?"

Re: AJ VS PARKER DEADLINE
Parker has fast hands and a good dig other than that not to impressed ,, but not impressed with AJ either so it should be an even fight at least ,, just goes to show how poor the present heavyweight scene is really
Re: AJ VS PARKER DEADLINE
So, you don't want to see Parker vs Joshua!? That would be the first heavyweight title fight I've watched for a long, long time!bigman1968 wrote:So? Wilder-Povetkin was ordered Nov 2015. We are in July, practically....who won?dickbelden wrote:http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/exclusi ... ph-parker/

Few fight fans aren't looking forward to Joshua vs Parker. I guarantee it will be more entertaining than Klitscko vs Fury, even though I'm interested in the outcome of that one as well.dberry wrote:So, you don't want to see Parker vs Joshua!? Re: AJ VS PARKER DEADLINE
I honestly believe that Joshua vs Parker won't be that competitive. People go on about Parkers jab but it's not that great, he just flicks it out constantly and he's quite lazy with bringing his left hand back to his chin. AJ is particularly good at landing his right hand over a lazy jab. I think he stops Parker in 6 or 7.

Re: AJ VS PARKER DEADLINE
I honestly believe Parker speed will trouble Joshua all night. Parker will be undoubtedly Joshuas toughest opponent and vice versa.
Joshua having a slower jab might see Parkers right come over the top of that jab and its lights out. 11th round knock out to Parker.

Re: AJ VS PARKER DEADLINE
He lost to Takam at least 116-112... I was generous... Takam controlled the ring... Parker needs 10 more for fights before he's ready for AJbigman1968 wrote:So? Wilder-Povetkin was ordered Nov 2015. Re: AJ VS PARKER DEADLINE
Why don't you set up an account and make your own bets... You'll get better odds because Parker will be a massive underdog... AJ will destroy this clown...lefty wrote:If you fancy a bet let me know.foxdog1923 wrote:I honestly believe Parker speed will trouble Joshua all night. Re: AJ VS PARKER DEADLINE
Sorry that was for foxdog... the fool would never beat on Parker despite his big mouth...
Re: AJ VS PARKER DEADLINE
I'll make AJ a 10/1 favorite... That's being generous to Parker. He really has no chance.
