Murray has never beaten a decent fighter in his career. Dillian Whyte is better than any victory Murray has ever had. Am I right or wrong? if wrong, who has Murray beaten that`s a better win than Whyte?

No prizes in this sport for gallant losers.
Joshua stinks.

I`m not trolling. It`s a genuine observation/question.

Answer it, or put Murray below Joshua.

Murray has a much better record than Joshua.

He belongs above him.

Farasi, that is not answering the question though is it.

Murray is a solid fighter, but that fact remains he has NEVER beaten anybody who it a decent level. His best wins are Max Bursak, Khomitsky and a 12 year old Blackwell.

Joshau beat reigning World Champ Charles "I walk this earth like a God" Martin, Tough as nails unbeaten Breazeale, Unbeaten GIANT Gary Cornish, Dillian "The Bodysnatcher" Whyte, Dennis "Hard Nut" Bakthov and Zumbano Love.

Plus he was the first guy EVER to stop kingpinn Johnson (something that both Klitschko and Fury could not do)

Murray has fought better fighters, BUT he lost to them all. The aim of the game is winning.

He lost clearly to Abraham about a year ago and Abraham then lost every round in his next fight.

For the last time, before I get angry, reverse the placement of these two.

I can only assume that you are taking the mickey.

Joshua has not beaten anyone worth bragging about. He's probably ranked too high if anything.

Murray aside who is Groves best wins? He's performed better in defeat than he has in victory. DeGale is a good win but a result that he arguably lost.
You just answered your own question, he has a win against a guy who is currently world champion, currently sitting at the top end of Horses list and is considered by many, the top SMW in Wards absence . That's his best win right there

I think losses should also be taken into consideration. If you lose at a very high level, do so by a narrow margin or by putting in a very convincing performance, then that defeat doesn't have to be taken as a negative.

I personally think Khan might be a place or two too high on this list but I certainly wouldn't mark him down for out-boxing a p4p ranked fighter then getting stopped by one punch, from a guy who is naturally bigger and a far bigger puncher than him. It's all about perspective

I'd even argue that, even if you thought Degale should have got the nod in their fight, it shouldn't necessarily go down as a black mark on his record, as stated above, Degale has gone on to show himself to be a genuine world class fighter

As much as I disagree with Horse's rankings of Murray in general, I do think he deserves to be above Joshua at present. From what I've seen, I fully expect Joshua to overtake Murray fairly quickly, but he really is untested at proper world level.

I enjoy your posts and I actually wish you would post more often. You're a guy who obviously knows his stuff.

I wasn't saying his win against DeGale was a negative. I thought DeGale won but it was a razor tight decision and I wouldn't argue too much either way. I agree with your point about defeats. Burns lost to Aurthur and it was an admirable defeat. There's always room for improvement in any sport.

Why thank you very much kind sir, your flattery is noted.

At this juncture, I would like to fully retract my previous post and agree with you entirely. You were right and Horse is an ass and doesn't know what he's talking.

Horse, please listen to Stuarty, this is clearly a man who knows what he's talking about :TU:

What's the most impressive Dillian Whyte win? His career highlight is winning a silver international title, outside of the Joshua fight.

why?
Billy joe clearly has more punch variety and amateur pedigree than mcdonnell.

billy joes footwork alone deserves more credit - there is an intelligence in the way he cuts space and in particular measures a safe distance between his opponent.

i guess with any form of fighting people favour different styles..

Apologies if my previous post came across rudely.

No worries mate we all have our own view on these things, just feel McDonnells achievements have flown under the radar somewhat
