Is the Hobson v Macca fight going to happen?, i've heard that Macca's opponent could be Italian Giacobbe Fragomeni.

i sincerely hope not.

hobson is a test that Enzo needs to take, his career is stagnating with all these (non) fights he is being lined up. Its getting more than tiresome

Hobson wants it its a cracking 50 50 fight so ..............

What the problem is , is Hobson is not rated in the WBO top 15, so they are saying he shouldn't be able to fight for the interim WBO title.

Why Macca wants to waste his money on such a crap title is beyond me, why pay a sactioning fee for a title that isn't worth anything.

Because if Nelsons injury forces him to retire he'll be the WBO champion. I read Nelson knee injury is a bad one, it could take months for him to recover. Is he going to want to go through that rehabiliation at his age?

Of course Hobson is the better choice, I'm sure he'll miraculously appear in the top 15 if he does get the nod.

Doubt it's a rating problem, I'm sure if SN tell the WBO that Mark is a good bloke he'll get a top 10 ranking by next week.
More like SN are worried Mark might crack Enzo on his china chin is the real problem. Hence the mad rush for a powderpuff punching Italian.

I'd be happy to see them go at it for the British title. But Warren will want to keep that WBO cruiser belt however he can and Enzo winning the interim title means he still has that belt if Nelson has to call it a day.

Being somewhere in the WBO top 15, is often a good indicator that the opponent is about as threatening as a dead jellyfish.

Knees are always a dodgy thing, i've had 6 ops on my left one.
Apparently he did it sparring with Mark Krence, they clashed knees and Nelson went down in pain.

Sweet, Robinson v Haskins would be a great little fight, nice one to get Dale back or a fight for Haskins to really prove himself against a known fighter. Would go with Robinson but already changed my mind twice whilst typing.

if Enzo doesn't fight Hobson i'll be pissed off. the recent buzz about Enzo (going into the aborted title shot) won't subside if he fights a live opponent like Hobson. but if he fights another fornicating stuff who'll roll over after a couple of rounds he's not doing anything for the fans and it won't do his career any good.

SN have been ultra conservative with Macca & it doesn't make for good viewing.

shit, why not have a rematch with Marco Heineken. that was good enough to make him the WBO mandatory!!!

I had a dream last night that Hobson entered the WBO ratings at 11 - sad I know but I wonder if that might happen.

There will be a lot of pissed-off people if this fight doesnt happen. Hobson and his team have been assured by SN that this fight is ON - no quibbles. But why the public silence coming from SN? I sincerely hope Fwank doesnt hang the WBO issue up as an excuse not to put the fight on........that would leave an extremenly bad taste in my mouth.

Hobson was supposed to fight last fri, wasn't he? and cancelled so it wouldn't get in the way of a Macca fight... if he Macca fight doesn't happen then Hobson's missed out on some work & will have nothing to show for his recent training

that's a weird one.

i once dreamt that roy jones knocked out mike tyson in 1 rd.

seems like it's still not set in stone then.

hobson would be a good test cos i reckon he'd be able to stand upright for a good few rds before folding.

these guys he's taking on at present just won't prepare him for a tough guy like nelson.
