Henry Thomas turns pro
Former world class junior Henry Thomas from Darlington has turned pro with Leeds manager/promoter Mark Bateson. Not boxed for a long time but still only 22 he was possibly the best junior I've seen on the circuit. It'll be interesting to see how he does.

I remember him well, very explosive, was stopping everyone as a junior, he just walked straight thru em, and I think he even went over to America and won there golden gloves as a junior aswell. Only ever saw him get beat once to josh leather I think it was, then he packed it up. Good to see he's back, anyone know what weight he will be fighting at.... Lightweight... Light welter I'm guessing?

Not sure on the weight. Seen him training at Henry Wharton's gym a bit back when he'd just started back and looked big. Probably with Bateson's lot now, he's friendly with Jack Bateson from their England days.
