Golovkin v Brook - who's going ??

Post by BigGar »

Ok then. Obviously this is going to be on PPV but anyone from here intending to go to the event ?? Have to admit I'm sorely tempted. We might not get to see GGG on these shores again.

Still can't believe this fight has been made!

This is a bigger step up and loads harder fight than the Khan vs Alverez fight no doubt. Good man Brook.

You will remember that I bought you a ticket for Froch Groves 2 out of kindness when you were desperate and the site kept on crashing, (and then logged on all chuffed with yourself that you'd got one leaving me in the lurch) when you buy those tickets SONNY JIM.

Flogged it, though.

I'll be in Chatham, searching for a fat Carl Froch!

Bloody hell, that's right out of leftfield.

It's going to be a slaughter, fair play to Kel, but he's moving up 2 weights to take on the best MW in the world by far. Pretty dumb, but I wish him all the best.

As somebody who doesn't really care about money I will try and buy about six (as I know of quite a few people who will want to go) but if people drop out I'll stick 'em up on Boxrec.

I've booked caravan with the kids the week before so I've no chance unfortunately. If it was Oct/Nov I'd have maybe tried for a ticket but I suspect it would've been well out of my budget! Boxing at the top level is an expensive sport to follow even on TV never mind attending!

I swore not to buy anymore but I feel I may also make a purchase.

Depending on the "stackedness" of the card naturally...

Any predictions from anybody as to who might make an appearance?

I predict George Groves against a middleweight and Dillian Whyte against a Latvian binman.

I can't really justify the expense at the moment unfortunately, so I'll combine the PPV with a takeaway and a crate of beers. Can't effing wait :yay:

Hate the O2.
I'm there to see GGG not soak the atmosphere.

So I'd pay no more than £300 but would want a good seat.

Having never been to a live boxing event, how much are the tickets likely to range from?
