TAPING FIGHTS- IS IT TRICKY THESE DAYS????????

Post by overhand_right »

Re-watching a tape of Audley & Williams the other day (sad i know) in my bedroom i realised the screen was all bizarrely stretched out parallel.

I have an old styled regular TV in my bedroom, but downstairs we have a big fat widescreen panasonic doohickey.

Exactly how do you tape fights these days? Is my bedroom TV too prehistoric & needs to be scrapped? is everything widescreen these days?

Replaying this stretched version back on the downstairs TV, its original source, the picture quality didnt look all that great, to say it was off a brand new Panasonic vcr.

If anybodys still awake at this point i wanted to know how exactly we're suppose to tape shit now? What if i trade with some guy who doesnt have a wide screen tv and he gets ole distorted stretchy vision? Tough shit? or i should tape stuff off my early 90s normal TV set?

Or am i just talking a load of old bollocks and i really should have something better to do on a saturday morning?

Jeez mate you need to get out more.

I have a copy of Nelson vs De Leon if you really want a real thrill in your bedroom.

As for you original question I only have huge, widscreen, 8 speaker sound system TV's in my house. So I don't know.
