the whole world is watching this election

Well 40-50 years ago murder rates were considerably lower and you didn't have all these mass shootings that we have nowadays. And gun laws were also less strict. So that leads me to believe that guns aren't the problem but it's our society and culture that is the problem. And its funny that you bring up IQ. The reason why things like socialized medicine and all these things democrats believe in cannot realistically work is because there are people that are not as smart, don't have the drive that the people that make things happen do. We live in an imperfect world. In a perfect world these things will work, but sadly we dont.

you guys won't do that, but here is a little
hint: look around the world. whenever i
hear an american say the word "socialised"
i know that he has no idea what he is talking
about. there are free, vibrant, successful
societies who have universal healthcare.
actually from all such societies you are about
the only one without.

yes, the world is imperfect, but the rest of
it has figured out that guns in everybody's
hands is not a solution, it is the problem.

and please spare me the pseudo statistics
of fifty years ago or some little village with
tons of guns and little crime. just LOOK
AROUND the planet.

the very best is when the righties bring up
THE CONSTITUTION and the SECOND
AMENDMENT. as if they were set in stone
until infinity. if the founding father of the
USA had had such backward mindset they
would have written it on the thinking of
1576. and until most recently americans
seem to have known it was a living piece
of convictions, hence the word "amendment".

and you know what i could not care less
about the obvious lack of courage and
values at the american right. but your idiotic
stance on climate change is endangering not
only your life, but the ones of my children
and here is end of funny.

fun fact: a high ranking Canadian politician came to Florida to have an operation because our healthcare was better. And I know you don't want to hear it because you don't wanna be wrong, I get it.but I personally know many doctors who have gotten out of the field becuase they can't make any money under Obama care. What you have under socialized medicine is everybody gets mediocre care because it takes away the incentive of being a good doctor in the field of medicine. And did i ever once disagree with you on climate change? No so the only idiotic thing is you assuming I deny climate change. But I'm sorry they spent millions of dollars of government spending in some states for solar and wind energy that contribute to less than 1 per cent of total energy source. I'd say anyone with half a brain would call that a waste of taxpayers money. The technology is nowhere near there yet.

Never once did i say I was in support of big oil companies either. I like nuclear energy, it's clean and efficient. But just another jab at Hillary (I can't help myself lol) do you find it funny that after she took millions from Saudi Arabia who is one of the biggest oil suppliers in the world, she all of a sudden is in opposition of a US extension of the key stone pipeline which would essentially make the United States totally self reliant on oil?

Shows a low homicide rate in the 1950s with 1957 being the lowest with 4.0 it has gotten alot lower since the 80s and 90s which is good, and I'll admit I wasn't totally right in my statement of homicide rates being much lower 40-50 years ago but it's been up and down and guess what? Guns have always been available so again, I blame culture and society being the problem.

with no guns in a house this "culture
and society" would lead to quarrels
and arguments - like everywhere else.
with guns around it leads to gun deaths.

but there is no way of arguing with
brain washed people. there was this
man who shot his son at a gun range
in a tragic accident. and in his grieve
he maintained "the gun didn't kill my
son, my mistake killed him." not even
his grieve could end his love with fire
arms and the wish to protect them.

the american is a violent society, always
has been and enjoys it too much to ever
change that.

Right but how many murders are committed by people who obtained their guns illegally? I guarantee its more than half. I'd be right with anybody that says we need better background checks for people who want to own a firearm and that penalties for illegal possession and illegal sales should be stiffened. But taking away guns completely from responsible citizens who just want to protect themselves? Sorry just can't get with that. and all americans are vioent and love violence? Sounds like a pretty bigoted statement to me.

Just to get back. ( I know it's pretty late) but we were created through war so maybe that's why we are a violent society.look at Russia for example. Lost 20million people in world war 2. They are a very militaristic people. You don't think there's a reason there are alot of good fighters out of that country?

if russia is a role model, be my guest.
they are remarkably similar to america.
with the big difference that russians
are maybe more aware of how corrupt
their country actually is. i just say
citizens united, which is basically legal
bribery.

but americans have not overcome their
violent youth as many western societies
did. there is good reason why hundred
years ago western europe was pretty
much as obsessed with war and guns
and socialised violence in general, but
all of that changed with us going through
the devastation of home land war on an
unimaginable scale.

it is mind boggling to see the alex joneses
of back woods america holding on to the
idea of defending against a tyrannic
government. they haven't seen what war
has turned into in the last hundred years
because it was away from their homeland.

Most interesting and excellent post about the gypsies! Thank you.

What branch of the gypsies are the fix-the-dent-in-your-car-mister clan that often bug me in parking lots? I usually chat it up with them and say something like, hey, romany, I like your lifestyle. Then they say, yeah we're Romanian. Yeah right Romanian. Sez I, the women do all the work and you just go around gyping people, how do I join? Last year in Calif. a pile of them rolled out and were bugging me about my precious dent but I didn't like the way one of them was moving behind me, tho I guess he was just inspecting the dent, but I don't like gypsies behind me. They had a pretty girl in the car with them but she was dirty and ragged. Another bunch accosted me and my vehicle here and the usual. This one told me he'd tell me all about their lifestyle while he fixed my dent, but of course he'd just make up lies. Oh yeah, two of them drove alongside of me recently and were honking so I rolled down the window, even tho looking at them I guessed what they were going to say, yep sho nuf. Back east they seemed to always have Mississippi license plates, the dent fixing clan. Anyway I like the dents and don't want them banged out by gypsies.

Good call on Fury. I made the same call on the Klitschkos when they first hit the scene. I said that they will be the dual heavyweight champs. I didn't like Fury at first but now I like him a lot. Was his recent injury legit or just stalling for time so he could lose weight, or some other reason, like they figured they could sell more tickets at another time of year?

Your welcome ! I have no idea about the Travellers in Mississippi you are referring to, and I don't know much about any in the US, except that some emigrated there during the potatoe famine in Ireland. There is a site called Murphy village somewhere in Florida I believe, that has become rather notorious for all the wrong reasons ! And then you have complete fakes and wannabe's like our resident gypsy lorist Rufus here, and Bobby Gunn who has actually had some fights to be half proud of, unlike rufus ! But they both claim to be Gypsies but are in fact nowhere near to being related to any Gypsies/Travellers ! As for Tyson's ankle injury, it looked pretty messed up ! I don't think he would have postponed on purpose. He has a team behind him made up of his family (Father and Uncle) and they would easily have got him down to the optimum weight with time to spare ! You see a Gypsy man is a very free spirit, and one's mind can wonder and they can get terribly distracted ! But Tyson has his uncle Peter and Father John to keep him on the straight and narrow, and would never let him slip up in his preperations for Klitschko ! There was something in the news about Tyson's ankle injury being caused by Tyson slipping in a night club while pissed. I can't comment on wether this is true or not, seems everyone has an opinion on the Heavyweight Champion of the World ! I also doubt they would want to push it back "to get a better deal at a better time of year" ! The Fury's were rich people before Tyson became a pro boxer, and now he is the champ they need never worry about money for the rest of their days ! Damn even their next generation at the very least is well taken care of ! And what could have been bigger than a summer superfight between two champions anyway ???

See, just like I'm always telling those dent-removal-gypsies, I want to join up! I've got all the prerequisites, including being spacey, and I could probably learn how to smear water soluble paint on car dents and peoples' driveways I think.

This: A third playoff match! Because this is my prediction: The second fight will be the opposite of the first and very exciting and maybe each will get knocked down but Wlad will win by KO - and then the big third one!

I once read a book by Jan Yoors, a European boy who joined up with the gypsies. It made a big impression on me. I'd like to read it again.

After re-reading your comment's it appear's your highly prejudiced towards Gypsies and Travellers ! I don't know how I could have missed it ! Seems I must have been busy or something, and just speed read it ! Comment's of your's such as "I like Fury" would have gone some way towards the subterfuge, otherwise I would never have wasted my time on such a lengthy reply to you !

You see not everyone that seeks to do other's over with under handed schemes are Gypsies, and some claim to be Gypsies when infact they aren't ! They may come from families that have long adopted the free roaming lifestyle of Gypsies, and they give Gypsies an even worse name than they allready have with the likes of people such as yourself ! I suppose you reckon every scamster is some sort of Gypsy, and fail to recognise that bad people are universal, not exclusive to any one group ! I also suppose you yourself are perfect and have never wronged anyone or done a misdeed ! You remind me of a very good saying of the good Lord Jesus Christ....."He who hath no sin cast the FIRST stone"....You see I put emphasis on the word 'First' because Jesus knew that not a single person could claim such a thing and step forward to commence the stoning !!!

You seem quite confident and also arrogant in your prediction of Tyson losing in the rematch with Wladimir.....Well Tyson ALLREADY BEAT HIM !!! How that must have hurt you lol !!! He allready showed the skill set that it took to beat a SUPER CHAMPION, and now Tyson is that SUPER CHAMPION !!! HE IS THE MAN WHO BEAT THE MAN !!! The other two 'Champion's', Deontay Wilder, and Anthony Joshua, are only PAPER CHAMPIONS ! Deontay winning the WBC from Bermaine Stiverne who fought Chris Arreola for the belt after Vitali Klitschko ABDICATED ! And Anthony won his paper IBF belt after it was STOLEN off Tyson in a political decision to rob the man of a belt he won FAIR AND SQUARE !!! The 'fight' for the 'vacant' IBF belt was a farce between two novices, one that AJ knocked out in 2 rounds to become 'champion' ! Tyson was contractualy obliged to fight Wladimir FIRST in a rematch before facing the main contender for the IBF crown, and so if he had fought Glazcov he would have had to give up all the other belts ! Tyson Fury is the ONLY TRUE CHAMPION, as he is the ONLY fighter to have beaten an ACTIVE REIGNING CHAMPION !!!

NO AMOUNT OF YOUR PREJUDICE TOWARDS HIM CAN CHANGE THAT !!! AND IT'S THE HATRED THAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU HAVE DISPLAYED AGAINST HIS PEOPLE SINCE TIME IMMEMORIAL THAT GIVE'S HIM THE HUNGER AND DRIVE TO GO OUT AND WIN !!!

SEE YOU IN MANCHESTER PUNK !!! :shame: :box:

Yipes "typical acceptable RACISM" !!! So many hate the Fury's for one simple reason, they happen to be Gypsies ! The 'civilized' west has long embraced black champions like Louis, Ali, Tyson, Lewis, and Joshua, seems we're not quite there yet when there is still a race it is deemed acceptable to hate ! If Tyson was born as just a typical white English lad, his victory over a ten year plus reigning super champion would have been all over the front pages the very next morning, and shouted across the rooftops nationwide ! But he's a Gypsy, and so it will always be ok to belittle his achievements no matter how big ! People say it's Tyson's fault for speaking out against gays and paedophiles, well he is freely expressing his religions ideals and standards in a so called 'free society', anyhow I seem to remember Americans being very quick to forgive Mike Tyson after he came out of prison for RAPE !!! So long as there was another American heavyweight champion of the world all was easily forgiven, and most importantly forgotten ! The British never saw Tyson as one of their own in the first place so what chance was he ever going to get anyway ??? He got his chance though, the hard way ! Nothing ever handed to him like Joshua the former drug dealer and wannabe gangster/street hoodlum, Tyson had to win every conceivable belt on his rise to the undisputed lineal heavyweight championship of the world, from area title, to British, Commonwealth, European, Intercontinentals, to the linear heavyweight champion of the world, and all within 25 fights !!! Anyway he will be back, just as I originally predicted his rise to the top before, I now predict that the king will return to take what's rightfully his, the Gypsy King will be back !!!

This Matt the Master guy wants to fight with me - but I'm a fan of Fury! I like the guy! I think if he gets back into reasonable shape he could beat up everyone around now except for Povetkin.
