Sometimes you have to do things for money that you aren't happy about. Danny has kids in private schools and needs to keep paying their expensive fees. Hes retired now though. He only accepted the Krasniqi bout because it was an exhibition and wouldn't get hurt.
I'm sure Danny's kids would survive being in state school. Perhaps he should consider his own well being.
If that sounds harsh, it is, as is the reality of being punched in the head for a living.
Have you seen a London state school? They're not going to get a private standard of education in one of those zoo pens. I find what Danny did quite noble. He put his children's future ahead of his health. Most dads from Brixton don't even bother to stick around. To put his kids through private school, and pay the fees by enduring physical abuse, is as gallant as it gets.

Money pure and simple. Sad it ends up this way for so many fighters who often don't know anything else but fighting.

On that website it states "Supposedly it was deemed "public sparring for publicity" by the Baltic Boxing League. They claimed there were no judges but the referee (who may serve as a judge) was clearly legit. He waved the fight off following the 4th knee Williams took in round 2."
That does not clear up anything, quite the contrary. In fact that website is implying that it was actually a legit fight despite the supposition.
Actually it says what the board said, then mentions that the ref counted knockdowns. That doesn't mean the fight was real. The board is admitting its fake and as Danny was told beforehand to go down when hit cleanly, its hardly too far fetched to imagine that the ref was told to play along and count when Danny went over from clearly false knockdowns. A real ref in a real fight would've deducted points or disqualified him for taking knees on such pathetic blows.

Now if they are the ones sanctioning the bout and thats what they said, then thats all that matters. If the BBBofC said Dannys bout with Dominic Negus was a public sparring session then what right do u have to go against that when it was under the boards jurisdiction?

Nowhere does it say that the Baltic League said it was fake. It says that they 'supposedly' said it was fake. The author of the article is merely sharing hearsay or rumours, hence why he uses the word 'supposedly'.

I have not come across one quote from a reputable reporter (or website) that states that it was definitely an exhibition bout. Also, as stated earlier, the website link which you provided does not say it was definitely an exhibition bout. Also nothing was mentioned on the video.
