Re: Brook is The Man
Brook is the man.....taking a shot at greatness. Worst case he loses and defends his title at his prime weight. GGG and Canelo should take notes.
This is the number 1 middleweight vs arguably the best welterweight. This is a solid fight.

Re: Brook is The Man
It's called false bravery folks. His claim to fame was a close disputed decision over porter whom he refused to give a rematch. Spent the next two years dicking around with bogus "mandatories" as an excuse to not fight the top dogs. Brook had a domestic rival in Khan whom he couldn't make a fight with which would have generated millions. He used Bradley and Thurman's names to boost his own popularity like a high school girl but never actually sent them a contract. Negotiated with Devon Alexander THREE TIMES and couldn't make a fight. Knew he had Spence as a mandatory and that people couldn't wait to see it. Had a unification fight with a prime, popular Latino fighter in vargas who came off two sensational wins. Vargas signed the contract over a month ago but brook continued talking out his ass about money, venue, etc like he's some A class legendary ppv fighter when all of a sudden, magically, he lands a deal with GGG who is two weight classes above him???
It's a win win situation. No one will dawg him out for losing to a feared puncher two divisions above him. His stock will be intact or rise astronomically due to this and then he can either hide at 154 and fight a Charlo avoiding his responsibilities at welterweight or he can return and continue flexing on his peers to act like THEY'RE the problem ("look at me, I made a fight with ggg it must be them") or demand that they bring more money to the table since he's a big shot now (if he were to win by some miracle).
I can't believe people are actually falling for this nonsense. It's honestly a joke.

Re: Brook is The Man
Yes, he had a tune up fight and his leg was perfectly fine. He proceeded to dick around with bizier and that other bum while all these killers at welter were available.Chepppaaa wrote:Cygnus475 wrote:It's called false bravery folks. Thurman fought porter and guerrero and won, I would hardly call him a pu$$y, certainly not in comparison to brook of all people lol.
What does Bradley being small and weak fisted have to do with anything? It's a fact that he flat out lied claiming he was in talks with Bradley and never even sent a contract. He used his name for popularity like a high school girl. He does it all the time, it's common knowledge at this point. He is notoriously difficult to negotiate with.

yeah he had easy fights, easy pay days, like all us boxers do. like canelo is doing right now, like ward is doing...etc
timmy being weak has to do, with brook not hiding from him, cause nobody hides from the midget
thurman is a talker, he doesnt want brook, never said his name. he got old guerrero and limited porter, who also got beat by brook. both danny and thurman want none of brook, hearn said it, why would he lie. they only want haymon fighters.
Re: Brook is The Man
As far as your dumb ass Brook comment, he blatantly ducked Bradly a few years back. He apparently wasn't ready for him.
