Maybe so, but we'll never know that for sure. Assuming a fighter would easily smash another fighter doesn't make it so.boxing_rocks wrote:Resumes don't fight. Re: GGG Damaged Goods
Have you ever looked at this guts record? Theres another issue too, which is how tough these men were. They werent just professional athletes, they were fighting for their lives. I'd bet a pound to a penny that ggg knows who greb is, what he did, and the enormity of his achievements. Old film doesnt do justice. These guys didnt have tge luxury of long training camps or video of their opponents, they were lierally fighting fit.boxing_rocks wrote:So, this funny dancing guy is the best MW ever ?gilgamesh wrote:I'd go with Harry Greb personally, but the Middleweight division has an extremely rich history. There's a few names you could debate having at the top. I haven't got to watch a lot of Monzon's fights, but he looks solid in the ones I've seen, and obviously has a stellar resume as Champion.jamesmcdonnell wrote:
Who would you say is the best, out of interest?
I'd say Monzon has the best shout, Robinson was patchy at 160, and a wee bit past his prime, Hagler, few early losses, and a tight one with Duran and Leonard. Ketchel, hard to say, too little to go on in terms of actual footage. Hopkins, weak era for much of his reign.

Golovkin would get rid of him in the first round.

If you're serious pm 2 weeks prior to fight time...Real talk 2 weeks prior I'm ready to take these cronies money
GGG beats up Kell Brook in
London is very funny. Kell isn't Amir Khan you know he's stronger very solid with great footwork and positioning poor GGG will take his 1st beating
then Alvarez will kick his ass for a 2nd time around ending matters.
then they will beg for a Eubank Jr fight and get his
ass kicked for a 3rd time I'm serious. Brook kicks that ass, Canelo steps in getting his turn, then Eubank kicks his ass one more time after being
cherry picked. This is how it will end.

Any other time I'd pick GGG but vs Brook in London? Are you serious?
Re: GGG Damaged Goods
Oh, I'm serious. I'll pm you as you wish and we'll exchange e-mails etc. Also a one month holiday from here for the loser, yeah?bnovelist wrote:PM 2 weeks prior to fight time so that I'd know you're serious.
Re: GGG Damaged Goods
They could be fighting in Brook's living room with Brook's family members judging and it wouldn't save Brook from the ass kicking he's gonna take.bnovelist wrote:Any other time I'd pick GGG but vs Brook in London? Are you serious?

However redoubtable Greb was, if someone came into my gym and shadowboxed like that I'd laugh my ass off.

Re: GGG Damaged Goods
My neighborhood hazelwood alway had a heroin problem so I kno that this kid trashing triple G is clearly a junkie. He ain't in right mind. Kell Brock couldn't beat Walters like Porter, Vasquez, or Thurman. Ain't no way he gonna survived GGG. His ass is toast...burnt kugel, end of the line. Fight won't go 6
Re: GGG Damaged Goods
Masterful trolling...
I just love his take on the WW division...
Spence is a monster! Nobody wants that ass kicking that is surely coming their way...
No, wait! Thurman is so cerebral...Nobody can handle him....Just watch him when he gets interviewed! It's like he can see the future! He can see your punches coming before you even decide to throw them!
No, wait! The power of London! Kell is the best of all time.....in London! I mean come on! GGG competitive with Kell in London?????? Who does he think he is? Carson Jones or something?????
I'm going to make a pronouncement....Bnov! The best troll ever!!!! Ain't nobody that can deal with his trolling!!!

Re: GGG Damaged Goods
Like Robert De Niro in Goodfellas I'm ready to take you cronies money I'm only dealing with 2 bets. We'll work it out near fight time no games or bs.
You see Kell Brook is a major cherry picker and for him to sign to fight GGG at the O2 Arena tells me he knows what he's doing
Brook is an
advanced cherry picker now all of the sudden he has balls of steel what the f@ck ever!
He knows he's gonna beat up GGG regardless of
the weight he will have that loud ruckus crowd behind him as well as the judges and reffing. Brook ain't fooling me one bit
We are in the era of the cherry pickers best BELIEVE Kell Brook chose this bum for a reason
Brook is going to do circles and tattoo Golovkin
face something nicely. I don't care what anyone says the UK has the most ruckus fans supporting their fighters look at how well Froch was
revitalized fighting at home. Those UK fans are the best! GGG get ready for that ass beating you have coming!

By the time GGG is finished clobbering opponents this fight will be long forgotten.

GGG is going to KO him, one punch... Canelo-Khan, Ishida, Geale style.
zzzzzZZZZZZZZzzzzZZZzz......
Agreed Pug, Brook took this fight because its a win-win. If he loses its expected and he has balls so we should praise him. If he wins(which is highly unlikely) he's a hero.
GGG in 6.

What odds are you giving on GGG to win? How would we secure the bet? I'd go £1000 on GGG depending on odds

Greb is the only boxer to beat Tunney, and Tunney was a light heavy. I read he fought the latter part of his career with only vision in one eye. He is the best middle of all time easily, imo.

The Tunney win is the all time greatest single achievement of any middleweight IMO

Achievement wise, probably, but there is no way he could beat Golovkin. For starters, he would likely fight as a welterweight now.Badhusker wrote:X2gilgamesh wrote:His resume as a Middleweight is second to none.
