We have an esteemed contributor that likes Edwins moves. I've gone back, done my homework, and reached a differing conclusion.

Let's leave Duran and a dozen other top notch right handers out of the discussion, which puts Valero well out side the top ten.


But here's just a few southpaws off the top of my head, that would get my bet over Valero and shove him outside the top 5 southpaw lightweights.


1. Whitaker....he'd clown him
2. Flash Eldorde....no contest
3. Nazarov.....yep I think he'd whup Valero just fine
4. Stevie Johnston.....good fight...maybe until Valero choked.
5 Hector Camacho....... Either before or after he got a little gunshy. Though I think Valero could teach him that lesson as well.

This in spite of the fact that he still hasn't even established himself as the best of his own time...now don't get me wrong I like Joshua, and I think he's very talented and probably will be the best of this generation, but when you see guys like Kalan already anointing him the greatest ever....there's just no words for stupidity like that.
