Thank god Daley lost, he has been unbelievably overrated for the longest time now. Wild striking, no defense, mediocre grappling. He's a C-level fighter, the British equivalent of Erick Silva.

MVP looked pretty good but Cyborg is nearly 40 years old and was never more than a gatekeeper even in his prime. MVP will have to shore up his wrestling before facing quality welterweights.

Yeah, Daley is horribly open, and MVP fought a walking cadaver.

I knew of him from his point fighting career. I thought when he switched to mma that he'll deliver some highlight reel KO's b4 coming unstuck. Those point fighters can get in and out so damn quick, it's prob great for getting off first. They often commit massively with their strikes like on sat, so I wouldn't b surprised if he got caught walking onto something and got banjo'd himself at some point.

With the combination of huge frame and athleticism I think he will get exposed for his wrestling like the man above said, before someone finds his chin.

I knew cyborg must have taken a bad injury the way he went down with his hands clutching his head so quickly. Though I thought he simply had his nose smashed completely in rather than his fucken skull

I'd like to see Page vs. Saad Awad next. Awad is comfortable on his feet with really good power (and is also coming off a KO win over Santos) so it would be natural next step for Page.

I hope Cyborg is OK after this. He is having to undergo serious surgery. Terrible injury.

Let's wait to see him fight someone decent first. I like the guys style and his striking is fornicating brilliant but I wonder how he will do against a top 20 fighter.

He has the looks of something special. I understand where you are coming from. But, I feel he will do very well once he steps it up. He already holds many attributes of a champion... Confidence, power, athleticism, charisma, but we'll see.

I hope he is, dude is the most exciting thing I've seen since Anderskn Silva and yes I think his striking his good enough to do what he does to top guys it's just whether his grappling is good enough to allow him to do so.

Page vs Thompson in a striking battle would be fun as hell to watch.

Lotta people making the Rousey=Tyson, Holm=Douglas comparison now. Aside from the Rousey fight Holm hasn't been that impressive in the UFC.

Unless they're directly gifting Rousey a title shot upon her return, I assume we'll get Nunes/Shevchenko now?

I've seen that and I think it's a shit comparison made by people who don't know fornicate all about fighting other than Tyson is God, Holm still beats Rousey IMO. Rousey still won't fight smart when people don't rush in and everything I've seen from her personality says that she will continue to try to bully who she fights with her aggressive style.

I think more girls can/will beat Rousey now that they know if they're patient and don't rush in they can beat her(Zingano was the stupidest shit I've seen for a long time) because her striking is disgustingly bad and she doesn't possess a good double leg. Throw in the fact that the there is some better/improved fighters in the division in the last year or so than there was before she likely picks up another loss sooner rather than later.
Looking at the top 10 Nunes, Shevshenko(If she keeps it standing) and Holm beat her or should beat her. Zingano if she doesn't rush in like last time has a chance IMO. I wonder if Rouseys apparent delicate psych can handle losing again or not being at the top of the women's food chain, I honestly hope not I'd love to see her gone her attitude towards everyone and everything that doesn't worship her sucks as much as her striking and acting.

Tyson didn't have to worry about cutting weight.

Before her fight with Holm, Ronda looked very gaunt at weigh ins. Her weight cutting impacted her last couple of fights: she sported a mouse after the first clean right hand landed by McMann...but KOed Sara quickly after, got winded rather quickly against Holm, and was bloodied rather early. The dehydration seemed to impact her cardio and her skin's tendency to cut and swell.

Plus, even after last night's loss, I see Holm beating Nunes.

Rousey could have fought at a higher weight, but Kris Santos awaited her. She's a bully.

Honestly I still think Rousey beats Cyborg. Cyborg is not a patient counterstriker, she comes forward and is hyper aggressive. It plays right into Rousey's clinch game.

I know what you mean but I just see her being too strong and powerful for Rhonda. Rousey herself defo didn't want the fight. It was there for a while for her.

Yes but surely Cyborg would be the best grappler Honda ever faced. She is after all an ADCC bronze medalist and a BJJ purple belt world champ. They would probably both charge in hard and Honda as usual would have her chin in the air and ready to be taken out.

I saw holy holm fight yesterday. I became a fan of hers when she beat down the narsistic rousey. I'd never seen her box before but obviously it was advertised that she was a past boxing champ. I love boxing, I used to box (not pro) so of course I wanted to see a boxer succeed.

It was the most frustrating fight I have see, much like her fight with the other girl she lost to. She was extremely tense and throwing punches and kicks from the worst distance missing by a foot in most instances. She beat herself, couldn't find range, gassed herself. She's done in mi opinion. I find that very disappointing but that's life. Did anyone watch this fight? Is she done?
