If Fury has reached his ceiling, then it is not high.

Fury is still hugely under-rated. He's barely had a glove landed on him in his last four fights. His boxing has been beautiful. He may not be exciting and he doesn't excite but he is hugely efficient.

You can't compare Fury who is a good boxer with quite a few drawbacks with the ATG from 1970s, but I am sure he would beat anybody from 1920s.

It makes me laugh when we hear so much about these 'advanced training methods' and yet modern heavyweights are blowing our of their arses after only 30 seconds of sustained effort, whereas the guys in the 1970's could fight at a hectic pace for 15 rounds.

If these modern training methods are so advanced, why are the modern heavyweights such poor athletes in general?

Dempsey would slaughter fury and Jack is badly overrated by historians. He'd lose to dozens of fighters from that era. Fury cracks me up, but he's mediocre historically. John Ruiz would make sweet love to him.

If Brook shows anything near Martyn Murray's chin, considering he is quicker and carries a good dig, he goes a fair distance and takes a few rounds, he doesn't win, he does get stopped and I suspect ground down to the body being the main problem but considering his size and his boxing abilities and GGG isn't that hard to hit I don't think Brook will do too badly. It certainly is a win win for him if he manages to avoid getting ruined by the fight.
