Yes but these fights and the main event are not PPV $50 worthy. I wish the Moloney brothers well but they're not PPV worthy fights IMO.

Yes but these fights and the main event are not PPV $50 worthy. I wish the Moloney brothers well but they're not PPV worthy fights IMO.

It's shaping as a sell-out from what Brian Armatruda is saying, and all those tickets cost in excess of $50. So plainly many hundreds already disagree with your assessment of the value of the entertainment on offer.

Green, angling for a rematch with Anthony Mundine next year is now 43 and ready to be taken according to the heavy punching Melbourne cruiserweight.

Watts, 33, with a record of 18 wins in 20 fights, has been sparring Brisbane’s world-class light-heavyweight Trent Broadhurst and says their grueling sessions at at Kangaroo Point have him razor sharp to cause an upset at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena in two weeks.

“Youth is on my side and I’ve had a great training camp,’’ Watts said.

“Sparring Trent in Brisbane has been fantastic preparation.

“I watched Danny’s last fight against (Argentine) cruiserweight Roberto Bolonti and he looked like a shadow of what he was a few years back.

“The time is right for me to beat him.’’

Watts’ trainer Julian Holland, the former Commonwealth welterweight champion, said Broadhurst has lifted Watts to new levels in the gym.

Would not be surprised if it went the distance. Watts is durable. He hasn't been stopped and I think he's only been off his feet once.

Everyone knows this bout for Danny has an ulterior motive. If an undercard fight outshone the main event who gives a poo. It happens on every ppv coming out of every country. I have followed this sport for a long time and I am sick and effing tired of the negative crap being heaped on it, much of it from this forum.

The fight is just another step closer to the rematch. It is intended as nothing more than some paid rounds for Green. Not sure why some people are finding that so hard to understand? The continual negative crap is just something a small minority resort to. But thankfully they usually end up getting banned.

If Renold happens to somehow defeat Geale, Mundine wouldn't hesitate in fighting RQ & giving him the exposure & a payday before an exhibition fight with DG

The big money is in Mundine vs Green II. Everybody knows that. That's why it will happen.

The purse Green is asking for, Team Mundine could get a very decent international fighter instead, How well Mundine recovers from his operation may determine his next move

Give the guy a break

He has been added to the bottom of the card in a 3 rounder, in what will be his second pro fight.

It will contribute to the crowd more than most guys having a 3 rounder because of the football factor.
