Giovanni De Carolis vs Tyron Zeuge

This saturday on Sky,De Carolis defending his WBA Super Middleweight title against unbeaten Zeuge,im not sure if its the proper belt or still the Regular version,im not sure whats going on with Sturm's failed test and whether Giovanni has been upgraded or what??

I was impressed with De Carolis in the Feigenbutz rematch,he really beat up Vincent that night to put to bed the loss of their 1st fight,he gave Abraham a tough night a few years ago too,he's suffered a few losses but is on a decent run of form

Zeuge has been propping up the undercards in Germany for a few years now,ive must have seen most of his fights,most of the time he's looked decent but he's had a few stinkers too and most of his opponents have been made to measure,he's got an exciting style for a German,comes forward and looks strong,he's got a wide points win over Sjekloca too which is the best name on his record

Im struggling to pick this one actually,being in Germany no doubt Zeuge will get the decision

I think he dropped Sjekloca aswell if Memory serves me right. Something Callum Smith or Abraham couldn't do.

Luke Blackledge was over sparring Zeuge after sparring him which wasn't the 1st time they sparred as he sparred him previously when he was over sparring Arthur Abraham!!

That was a decent little fight in the end, though De Carolis was unlucky not to get the decision, but a good scrap none the less.

The fight was much better down the stretch.

Zeuge looks too raw to me. Also maybe could make middleweight as he didn't look that big IMO.

De Carolis definitely should have got the decision but a good learning fight for Zeuge.

Yeah i thought De Carolis won too(116-112) he landed the better shots throughout and seemed hurt Zeuge more than Zeuge hurt him,there were a lot of close rounds but typically the German got the benefit of the doubt,i was impressed with Zeuge's durability though,best fight of the night for me,i wouldnt mind the rematch

They will definatly have some sort of rematch clause won't they or options on it

De Carolis was unfortunate not to win the decision, but at least he gets to keep his belt.

Zeuge looked pretty limited to me, although better than Feigenbutz.
