Have a watch of this documentary on the said incident, it's a pretty new documentary filmed in the lead up to the Chilemba fight, I think it was very much on his mind. It's a good watch.

and as for kovalev getting stopped by ward, i would say the chances are about 20%. Ward is most likely going to in a decision with Kovalev fighting pretty much the same way he fought Chilemba but with a much lower punch output for fear of taking counters

Still cannot really understand why Ward is moving up.... I always see him as a small Super Middleweight. Kovalev is a big Light Heavy.
If Ward wins this fight - I still don't think he'll get the recognition he deserves, cos Kovalev is going to be much much bigger / stronger and I don't think people realise the size difference.
I'd easily tip Ward vs Stephenson cos Stephenson is an ex Super Middle himself and pretty small at the weight. Kovalev looked bigger than Cleverly, who has fluctuated with Cruiser.

I was thinking in terms of a bookie. Put it this way, 20% equates to a 5/1 shot.
If Ward was priced up at 4/1 to stop Kovalev I'd say that is a fair price.
