The interview between rounds was unprofessional and potentially dangerous, the board should look into it and make sure this idiocy never happens again.

I fully agree with you. The Board have been stingy about things far less serious than this, so let's hope they address it. Every minute in there is sudden death - unfortunately, sometimes literally - and how many times has a supposed non-dangerous, non-punching opponent sprung a Hail Mary on the House star? It has happened plenty. Far too serious a professional sport to cater to the whims of TV in this way.

I concur.

I also don't like to see fighters being interviewed in their dressing rooms just BEFORE they enter the ring.

Well that's the fighters choice really. Talking to TV when they're not in the ring is not going to lead to any extra danger.

Yes I've never liked that gimmick either. Always feel sorry for the boxer being hassled just before they get in the ring, when giving a last minute interview is obvioulsy the last thing they need.
Never used to see anything like that.

I've always found the German TV thing a bit weird. When I've seen it they've put a massive garland on the winning fighter and then marched him up a load of steps to the TV studio bit. Then they stand him behind a desk and ask him loads of questions...so much for relaxing after a hard nights work.
