I wonder if Saul will treat him in the same manner.
I do wonder if Liam will be doing his smiling, bully routine during this fight.

Apparently, Kelly hadnt done enough to be in the ring with him!

Well I'm sorry but Liam hasn't done enough to fight top billing in Vegas, he's defended his title against two really weak opponents and proved nothing on the world stage yet.

Saul's at super level, he's beyond world titles now, they type of fighter who's actually a prize to just get in the ring with. Hopefully this is making Liam a millionaire, it's costing him his unbeaten record.
Apparently when they were in close just after Kelly had tried to butt him Smith said to him "stop looking for a shit house way out and take the beating like a man!"

Smith is a lot stronger and wiser than Khan, don't be surprised when shots to the body finish Alvarez .

Smith isn't going to win a round unless Canelo takes a round off somewhere. He is a basic Gallagher come-forward limited aggressive fighter. Tailor made for Canelo, who will outbox him comfortably until he hurts him and stops him.

90,000 seater stadium! Canelo is very popular but Smith won't be known to most folks over there so I'll be surprised if they half fill it.

Canelo seems the type of box office Mexican star who will fill arenas regardless of who he is fighting, so even someone unknown with as bad a nickname as beefy probably won't make a difference.

Does anyone know where Smith is going to have his training camp for this UK or USA? Who does he spar, ginger middleweights only ?

Will Joe get his tactics right ? Presumably it will be to go straight at Alvarez...or not ?

I really doubt someone as canny as FW thinks Smith wins this, so I wonder why he's made the fight...possibly because Smith may have left him if he didn't get the big fights, and this would've been easy to make I imagine - and big bucks involved.

I'm bored of Canelo after he ran away from GGG. I hope Smith busts him up but I just can't see it. I don't think it'll be the one sided tanking some are predicting though. I think Smith will cause Canelo a few problems but will come up well short in the end.

Options on Canelo? Who knows, there must be some good reason.

Christ, Oscar has got some brass neck, I hope someone called bullshit during the press conference, but I don't think that happens these days.

I was at the Khan fight in Vegas and it was far from a sell-out in a far smaller capacity arena. Some of that will be price point, but I was genuinely shocked at how many tickets were floating around - we grabbed four at the weigh-in the day before at half-price.

Surprised that 1 in 5 people on this forum think Liam Smith beats Canelo. Truth be told it's a complete mis-match.
