canelo avoids danger
canelo avoids danger
doesn't go below where good upcoming
fighters are, and doesn't go up either.
actually ducks the best very close to his
own weight.
good career manager, yet if he continues
like that he will be criticised for avoiding
people he should have faced.
sad. didn't look like that not too long ago.

He's got a hard fight coming in Liam 'beefy' smith. Make no mistake he could well come unstuck in this one!

Re: canelo avoids danger
He is picking up on the Power Dept. So..you think this guy could be stronger than RYAN RHODES???? One draw Vs. a 6-5-4 guy but that was early.....IF a upset does happen it WILL greatly disturb the existing status que. We will LOSE the big of Canelo and the 1/10th power of Liam will come in. How it would blosum over time only time can tell but....wouldn't be a HIP trade at start of things. I guess, Canelo will be taking this Serious, as he should!
Re: canelo avoids danger
Yeah, dude. He's managed to avoid fighting Mayweather, Trout, Lara, Kirkland, Angulo, and Cotto. He's basically the king of avoiding everyone good near his own weight of 154.man wrote:doesn't go below where good upcoming

Re: canelo avoids danger
Their really is nothing "wrong" with setting your own weight limits just so long as it is agreement on both sides. For mandatory defenses NO!

Re: canelo avoids danger
Past the weight in no one controls what a fighter can come in at. Well....maybe some places do look there. "Weight drain" is a bitch. Believe me I well know. A JM at LH seems extreme. If I was 154lb. and I had to face someone as good as Canelo plus I think he will be 175lbs walking into the Ring then that is something I think YES I would try and put a finger on and prevent. But, this all is in our system. If it is not in our System, I think, the fighter opposing such gonna run up against a brick wall only!
Re: canelo avoids danger
I don't think Canelo avoided anyone beside GGG, but out of the guys mentioned 2 were completely shot signed on short notice and very overweight coming into a short camp, Cotto is near retirement and clearly smaller, while the two southpaws fought him basically to a draw. Schooled by Money, but no shame there. He got a lot of guys at the right time, is that fair to say?Lackeos wrote:Yeah, dude. Imo, fair to say and very accurate.SFW wrote:I don't think Canelo avoided anyone beside GGG, but out of the guys mentioned 2 were completely shot signed on short notice and very overweight coming into a short camp, Cotto is near retirement and clearly smaller, while the two southpaws fought him basically to a draw.
