Do you think Roy would want to be remembered as having beaten a spectator in his last fight?hhaehre wrote:Didn't he beat some spectator in his last fight?Like a Boss wrote:Perhaps he just wants to go out with a win? Who knows? At this point I suspect he'll fight a paraplegic if the money is rightLike a Boss wrote:Do you think Roy would want to be remembered as having beaten a spectator in his last fight?hhaehre wrote:Didn't he beat some spectator in his last fight?Like a Boss wrote:

Is this the Jr Welter Rodney Moore from the 90's? If so, those worrying about Roy need to think about him.

I think it's a different Rodney Moore, but strangely his nickname is also "Rocking" Rodney MooreSaadOffTheDeck wrote:Is this the Jr Welter Rodney Moore from the 90's? If so, those worrying about Roy need to think about him.

“I’m always excited to be fighting in front of my hometown fans who have shown me so much support during my career and I am looking forward to giving them an action packed fight” said Jones, Jr.
McGee Wright, Jones’ long time manager said “He wants to end his career in Pensacola at some point, I’m not saying this is his last fight but he started here and he wants to end it here.”

By action packed fight he means he wants to give his fans an exhibition against a guy that's not good enough to do much of anything to stop him. If it's "action packed" Jones likely ain't gonna be able to take that kinda fight for too long.Like a Boss wrote:http://www.worldboxingnews.net/2016/07/ ... -pensacola

Self delusion is a trait common to all humans, and it seems to have an unfavourably large bias within those who are former elite sportsmen.
No-One can escape the horrible health debilitative effects of cigarrette smoking. Especially the modern chemically ladened cigarrettes of these days. Long gone are the days when they were merely tobacco and nicotine. They contain over 100 deadly man-made chemicals.
Tobacco was initially originally only supposed to be used in its original pipe tobacco format, and puffed through a corn-cob pipe, never inhaled. The wealthy white government had it eventually modified into the raspy nasty cig-tobacco format, thus encouraging inhaling, worsened addictions to the added nicotine, and now all those horrendously body damaging man-made chemicals.
As far as Roy Jones Jr, I'd love to see him box against Charlie Zelenoff and shut that L.A Bullshitter bum up once and for all.
Roy May only be a low c grade boxer anymore, but against Charlie Z,he could feel young again and have fun in there clowning the crap out of cz and then knock that big-mouth bum right through the ropes and make everyone cheer really loud, including myself. He could go out on a high-note,and that would be gloriously gratifying for many to watch.
