Incorrect nationality of some good boxers.

Post by MaxiBoxc »

Sergiy Derevyanchenko, Ievgen Khytrov and Ivan Golub are ukrainians and fighting for Ukraine. Why they are under USA flag at this web-site? This is very uncomfortably when you search ukrainian boxers in the raitings.

Sergiy Derevyanchenko campaigns in US & is rated #4 and #12 in the world. What purpose would it serve rating him in place of birth?
For all you & I know, he & his trainer might've requested he be rated in US.

Ok, may be I don't understand something. I want to see a list of fighters with the same citizenship (ukrainian). How can I do this, if fighters with the same citizenship marked by flags of different countries? Drevyanchenko, Khytrov and Golub has ukrainian citizenship. Can I see them in the "Lb for Lb" raiting-list with other fighters from Ukraine?

Sorry if my english is not perfect, I try to be understandable.

Boxers are allocated as they have requested to be :TU: if they want to change then can notify us but we aren't swapping back and forth as opportunity arises.

I think he means Ukrainians who are rated in other countries.
I was faced with same problem with Armenian Vic Darchinyan and Russian Kostya Tszyu. Both started their pro career in Australia and resided in Australia. Some people insisted they be rated in country of birth.

Tszyu now resides in Russia and has so for many years. I left his profile as it was.
