I agree that Haye needs to do more to earn his shot, probably needs to fight 1-2 top ten fighters, but we both know he won't.

Why should Haye have to prove himself more than the champion?

Because Haye is now the challenger. Joshua has a title. Haye wants a title therefore It's up to Haye to prove himself unless a voluntary defence can be negotiated.

Happened with Vitali years ago after a long lay off. Only thing is Vitali didn't waste everyone's time fighting bottom dwellers and just went straight in to a fight with Peter (who IMO is awful anyway).

Like the look of what I see there, high workrate, fast hands, and excellent punch placement. Would definitely like to see him get into the mix. Big unit too, but very athletic with it. Can see him going far, of course hard to base it on just a few clips, but offensively he looks better than Joshua to me, more variety, and better combination punching, also better balance.

I am impressed myself, he is in good shape as well, hate seeing these fat Heavyweights on the scene and his opponents are not all short fat boxers either.

Lovely double/triple jab as well, don't see too many heavyweights, or fighters full stop using that these days. I'm very impressed.

It's pretty simple. If a voluntary defence can't be negotiated then Haye being the challenger will have to prove himself by working his way in to a mandatory position.

Klitschko was champion in recess or some bollux like that but apart from that beforehand he was a dominant champion and didn't lose his title in the ring. He was also willing to take on the challenge of regaining his title on his first fight back. Haye was a flash in the pan at heavyweight and he's obviously not willing to take on that size of task just yet.

AJ has plenty to prove as well yes. He's only at the start of his career. He shouldn't be champion and neither should the balloon he took the belt from. By the time he faces Parker it's looking like Parker might be the better prepared of the two having faced Takam and Dimitrenko. Especially if AJ faces Stiverne next and blows him away which I suspect he will.
