I don't know. There are rumours today about the fight with Briggs falling through and David Haye fighting Lucas Browne instead for the WBA regular title.
I have no idea how this will play out, because neither fighter are "officially" involved in the WBA's tournament.

That and Lucas Browne is set to be suspended for 6 months....Enlightened-One wrote:I don't know. There are rumours today about the fight with Briggs falling through and David Haye fighting Lucas Browne instead for the WBA regular title.

....then again, might fit into the time frame of how frequently Haye fights.

Lucas Browne was suspended for only six months back in March, which means he's available to fight in September, around the same date as the unconfirmed time-frame for the Haye-Briggs bout.Rob3_142 wrote:That and Lucas Browne is set to be suspended for 6 months....Enlightened-One wrote:I don't know. Browne will probably prefer to face Oquendo for an eventual crack at the WBA title, but Haye is a big draw in the UK, so the big payday may tempt him also.

I expect Haye to be too scared, no matter what he says in front of the camera, it's like Wilder/Povetkin.
David Haye is the Deontay Wilder of the UK.
It's a bit like this:

Browne got stripped of the title, and I think Chagaev did too since he's retired.Enlightened-One wrote:Lucas Browne was suspended for only six months back in March, which means he's available to fight in September, around the same date as the unconfirmed time-frame for the Haye-Briggs bout.Rob3_142 wrote:That and Lucas Browne is set to be suspended for 6 months....Enlightened-One wrote:I don't know. Haye and Briggs, two phonies. Vince McMahon and the WWE should be hosting the fight.

Where is Margaret Goodman and her phony Las Vegas Nevada mafia VADA drug testing outfit when it comes to testing Briggs who is obviously roided up and doped up to his gills for all these manic lets go champ videos?

I’m not quite sure I understand your point. Perhaps I’ve misunderstood, because your comments don’t seem to relate to mine?BitPlayer wrote:Browne got stripped of the title, and I think Chagaev did too since he's retired.Enlightened-One wrote:Lucas Browne was suspended for only six months back in March, which means he's available to fight in September, around the same date as the unconfirmed time-frame for the Haye-Briggs bout.

David Haye's HW career is fast becoming a laughing stock.

I think David Haye was entitled to a couple of easy bouts to rid himself of any ring-rust after enduring such a lengthy period of inactivity, but if his next opponent is not significantly better than Gjergjaj and de Mori, then I will be the first person to criticise him because he needs to prove himself worthy of earning a shot at one of the world titles.
