Think there is a chance he maybe on the Alvarez/Smith bill or so I heard, don't know how much truth in it to be honest but sounds possible, I would not be surprised if Alvarez beats Smith to possibly see BJS in with Alvarez.

Noticed this was an old thread and no one has yet to mention a fight that could/should have happened in Late 2013/14 BJS V James DeGale.

Could this still be on the cards BJS stated he would have no problem moving up-to Super MW and currently none of the fighters have any bouts scheduled although rumors about DeGale V Badou Jack but as for BJS besides GGG/Eubank JR and i cannot see BJS holding onto his belt via mandatory fights in a weak division after all i don't think the money is out there unless GGG or Eubank take the fight IMO GGG wont take the fight because its not a route he wants to take i mean why have hamburgers when your eating steak right.? That goes for BJS aswell i don't think BJS will put himself in a mandatory position to fight for one of GGG's belts.

DeGale is in a similar position unless the Jack fight happens does De Gale move up to fight the likes of Kovalev/Ward i very much doubt it.

It would be an interesting fight and a huge payoff for each fighter and not only does it make financial sense but its a huge domestic fight and both promoters fighting over which platform it would be televised on. De Gale V Saunders 2016??

Thing is Billy is a very good boxer , you just or at least i just can't help thinking , if he really applied himself with the sparton lifestyle , the real legends lived he could be a lot better

The SMW division isn't that strong but I think it's a step too far up for him. K

You just can't be at your optimun when you have to spend half your training camp losing weight , does'nt leave a lot of time to get where your supposed to be ,, which is why i suspect BJS tends to gas towards the latter rnds

Like i said , he does'nt live the correct lifestyle ,, he should be turning up for camp at his fighting weight , and either trimming down from there or becoming a monster at the weight , your right he looks podgy makes me wonder if they have done any body fat tests on him ,, although i;m sure they would have especielly when he was boxing for England

I did like Saunders............But since winning the WBO Title he's went into lock-down mind you after he dropped Lee twice he went into lock-down and it very nearly cost him the fight he seems more interested in keeping his WBO title as long as possible if he did knock back 4 million to fight GGG that will do me

I'm sure Kugan said recently on the Boxing Asylum pod that he tries to always put out IFL interviews uncensored, but does censor a lot of BJS interviews for his own good. I'd fvcking love to hear some of the stuff that's been cut out, would be hilarious.

He's got a great record too Saunders all the way through domestic level he's fought all comers and beat a great fighter in Lee to become world champ but he needs the big fights now,i have a feeling the Bursak fight will be rescheduled
