Big move in the betting for this. From frampton being close to evens at the beginning, he is now 12/5 with bet 365. Makes me wonder if he has a little injury.

Probably just the betting patterns? I'd imagine there's a lot of money going on LSC the closer the fight gets.

Frampton should have stayed at 122 and fought Rigo in Ireland, I've said it before.

Frampton has the much bigger frame and Leo only looks about 2 inches taller head to head, he was dropped by Kiko Martinez who recently had a draw against a journeyman so we can safely say Kiko is shot to bits. LSC also said he was surprised by Kikos strength and that Kiko was probably the most physically strong fighter he's ever faced, which means he's in for a big shock against Frampton

Also, Framptons win over Quigg shits on Leos win over Mares, have you seen Mares since he lost to Gonzalez? struggling against journeymen

I feel very confident for Frampton in this one, he will be by far the hardest puncher Leo has faced, Kiko and Quigg hit harder than Leo
Frampton was dropped twice by Gonzalez, who is similar in stature as Santa Cruz but half as good a boxer. Frampton also looked physically weaker compared to both Kiko and Quigg. He outboxed them both not out powered them. I think Leo is step to far. And Leo is lot bigger in size.

And what about the last 5 or so rounds before that? I also think Frampton faded in the second Kiko fight.

First fight as well I thought. He looked tired then he caught Kiko flush.

I rewatched the second round of Martinez-LSC (I previously watched the fight without paying much attention) and that absolutely should've been ruled a knockdown. Mind you, Cruz recovered very fast, but he was shaken, so maybe he won't be able to walk through Frampton's shots so easily.

Still like him to win wide though.

Much as I don't like saying it, I'm edging towards LSC on points. But this is a proper 50/50.

I rewatched it too but arrived at different conclusion. Leo wasn't hurt. He got pushed down rather then punched. Kikos wrist hit him in the neck and he lost the balance.

Yeah think heavy handed Kiko just clubs him off balance to the floor - all those title fights I think it's safe to say Leo's chin is excellent.

If I was betting it's got to be LSC. He holds all the aces: home advantage, acclimatised at the weight, too big & too busy.

Carl's in for a tough night but here's hoping he pulls out a shock.

Be interesting to see weigh in later though ...

Quite early for the weigh in. I take it there's another weigh in tomorrow at some point?

If he fading the last would have been the same as the rest, plus if I remember he done OK in the 11th

You skipped the straight right that had Leo momentarily on jelly legs in the first place. It happened right before your gifs started, although in the top gif especially you can still see him wobbelling a bit.

I will say that upon watching it yet again that it wasn't a clear KD, but to me Cruz clearly looked shaken.
