I thought Holmes/Spoon was as artistic as those old picture perfect Walcott/Charles dances. Has there been a two-sided heavyweight title fight that skilfull since?

I like in the 9th round where both realise a knockout isn't on the cards. They go back to boxing again afte that. Fantastic fight, wish it was 15 rounds then maybe there could have been a clear winner.

i just love how Larry soaks up that punishment, wobbled, then takes a hideous shot to the ribs, and another behind the ear, and thirty seconds later he's coming on like round 15 of the Norton fight. I sit up and applaud in awe every time I see it.

Spoon pretty much took his jab away that night, too. and no, never that good again, not that I saw.

Larry was also deadly when hurt v Weaver. I find his performance against what is obviously an extremely dangerous Tiger Williams quite scintillating too.

I've not seen the Roy Williams fight, will aim to watch it tonight.
