I had an awful lot of even rounds because little or nothing happened in them, I don't believe in awarding a winner when you can't separate the combatants during a round.Wrists wrote:Draw? I actually thought Haye lost the fight (closely of course.) it was one of the worst fights I've seen. But congrats to Haye for rocking that enormous heid!
Granted it was an awful fight but I can't see how anyone could give Valuev 6 rounds in that fight.
All about opinions though.
If I was Horse I would have just replied 'No'.

That's a fair assessment. Looking back at the fight as a whole I thought Haye just deserved to shade it and no more but it was definitely one to forget!jamesmcdonnell wrote:I had an awful lot of even rounds because little or nothing happened in them, I don't believe in awarding a winner when you can't separate the combatants during a round.Wrists wrote:Draw? I didn't really argue with Haye getting the nod, it was a fight neither man really deserved to win, worst heavyweight title bout ever.Stuarty30 wrote:That's a fair assessment. I remember Watt taking a lot of stick for giving it to Valuev but i think he fell into the trap of picking what he felt the judges might go for
