Im looking for someone to train me. I live in upstate NY, in an area that is far from any boxing gym. I live in canandaigua, about an hour from the only gym in rochester, which ive gone to and didnt like, didnt get a good feeling. The only guy i found who could train me was a karate guy, i want a boxing trainer.
There is a gym in syracuse and a couple in buffalo, but they are both 2 hours or more for me to drive. Ive got a wife and 2 kids and a full time and a part time job, so this is difficult for me to do.
If anyone knows of a retired fighter living anywhere around this area, or somehow i could find out for myself, please let me know. I could be a great boxer, i know it, i got sidetracked for a few years, but im only 26 and the guy who used to train me in tucson AZ said i could be a champ.
so, if anyone can help me out i would appreciate it.
