Credit Where It's Due

Post by diddy »

I like to tweak some of the euros on this board. Sometimes for fun but most often when warranted for their sheer disrespect of even the best American fighters like Andre Ward, etc but I'm a man and give credit to the UK when credit is warranted. They have 14 world champions over there. That's, in a word, astonishing. Kudos.

Funny thing is Khan is a chump among this group of UK boxers.

Like I have been saying for a while Europe is gaining its' place in boxing more and more. In the 80's and even into the 90's this was thought to be impossible but it is very real. It is now undeniable.

Great time to be a British boxing fan.
Our amateur scene is so well run I can see us continuing this form. There's plenty of good prospects around.
