How close to the ring must one be seated to generally avoid this type of mayhem?

Use modern technology CCTV .. Start charging the offenders with Affray , and give a mandatory one year non parole in prison for every punch or kick they throw 1 PUNCH 1 KICK + 2 YEARS .. for use of a weapon 5 years non parole ,,,If they want to get out no worries , let them buy themselves out say 5 -10 grand buys a year , not got 5 grand sell your car .or house .

Will it stop it , No you will always get idiots who don't give a Fook , but it will stop the casual thugs from getting pissed and coked and causing trouble , because most just follow the pack mentality and when the crime is'nt worth the time they will do , they'll back off and leave the trouble causing to others .

Turns out the kid who was murdered, is from the housing estate I live in - his memorial service is this week, in the community centre round the corner from me. I didn't know him myself, but quite a few people I knock about with on the manor did.

Not that I know of - I'll ask my mate Deano, he was good friends with the guy, grew up with him.

Sounds like there were plenty of witnesses that actually seen it happen so hopefully they collar the prick soon. That area must be riddled with CCTV as well.
