Putting Zelenoff & the word "class" in the same sentence seems very, very wrong.

Roy jones jr., Joe calzaghe, Juan Carlos gomez, Andre Ward, James Toney.

Asmuch as I want to votefor my boy Leonard now that others voted, I nust can't, he doesn't belong in there. I didn't even consider him and I am surprised people voted for him. I appreciate the jesture though. He had a good run in the last little while

Your man does not appear in the top six as calculated by the one true measure....that of the computer that is non bias.

As such....I could not give a vote that was unearned. Each of the top rated fighters earned they way. Just do the math.

Scoreboard updated.
And we are down to our final two Managers left to speak up.

There are still (potentially) 3 points that can be picked up by the candidates.

We might be nearing the end of the process, but it's still all to play for.

Down to our last Manager (Mr Fist of Legend) & our scoreboard looks like this:
Crease wrote:SCOREBOARD

Evander Holyfield - ALREADY QUALIFIED

Joe Calzaghe - 9 votes
Juan Carlos Gomez -9 votes

Roy Jones Jr - 8 votes

Andre Ward - 5 votes

Sugar Ray Leonard - 4 votes

Carlos DeLeon - 2 votes
Carl Froch - 2 votes
Vassily Jirov - 2 votes
Frankie Liles - 2 votes

James Toney - 1 vote
It looks like Sugar Ray might even squeezing in to the final place, but all the guys on 2 votes could still potentially catch him.

I chose not to vote for my own fighter, seems like he has enough votes already.

An honourable act sir & indeed JC Gomez has been recognised as one of the best by his peers - as such he marches on to The Super Six.

I have to do some debating on the other 2 fighters. Have it narrowed down to 4, but have to do some record checking, etc...
Alas, we have come down to your 2 final votes, Mr 'Geto.

Our first five have been confirmed.
But as it stands, there is a race for the 6th slot - currently being occupied by Sugar Ray Leonard, yet with Frankie Liles breathing down his neck...

Please make your votes when you are next online, so that we may close this process.

Also for those candidates who didn't get in to the big tourney, I am resuming The Silver Six, for the 2nd best group of fighters.

Probably the 5 unsuccesful nominated candidates with the highest ranking available fighter (who is Chris Eubank this week).

A little if something for everyone in our last 6 weeks.

I'd have to give a vote to Ward.

Last vote, it doesn't matter too much, so I'd go Froch. Even if his "big" wins against me were flukes, they were still wins. I'm not impressed with Leonards resume too much. I can't see why Liles has done, with no record up-keep.

In all honesty, looking at who he fought, Jirov really should be in. Granted he's a little lower in the point standings overall for the season, but when you try to fight the best every time out, you're going to lose some.

I concur about Jirov, he was at the too of the rankings for a while & he always struck me as one if the best fighters this season.

His exclusion from it is a surprise to me, but we must accept the wisdom of the crowd.

The Super Six is decided. Voting completed.

I am going to set up the official Super Six thread (& a Silver Six thread to guage the interest).

I offer all of you my thanks for your votes, without each individual making his picks this process could not have been completed fully.

Thank you all again & may the best man win.
