Mind you, Toney is one of my favorite boxers ever.

Just looked it up again.....Looks like Toney still won.

I'll check again next week.

And yeah...I know that Toney has said he probably lost. But the judges have the final say.

Tua stopped Ruiz in a round in '96......

John Ruiz wasn't a name in 1996 - I wrongly assumed this was obvious & we all knew this. Ruiz was a barely known Panix prospect who had lost to Dannel Nicholson. Bowe, Lewis, Tyson and Holyfield all had bigger fish to fry in 1996 than the winner of a fight between David Tua and John Ruiz.

Of the 4 big names only Lewis boxed Tua, and that was in the year 2000, and that was only because he was a mandatory, and Lewis twice delayed the fight in favour of easy defences.

Using Tua as an example of someone Bowe 'ducked', when no big name had boxed him by the time Bowe retired shows a critical lack of understanding of the 90s scene.
Maybe Kalan was a toddler in the 90s decade. We don't know.

When someone says that Anthony Joshua is the best heavyweight of all time is a waste of time debating someone like him.
I'm not judging Joshua by his experience and who he fought so far -- but on his height, weight, reach, strength, speed, power, jab, right counter, left hook, body attack, combination punching, his ability to draw leads, his ability to slip and duck punches and generally defend very well, and just his overall game and skill level... When I look at Corbett, Jeffries, Johnson, Dempsey, Tunney, Louis, Schmeling, Marciano, Patterson, Liston, Ali, Foreman, Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, the Klitschko's, Haye, and Fury... I see guys who got hit a lot more... guys with tons of flaws... guys with no body attack... guys who did a lot a grabbing and wrestling... guys who didn't learn quite as fast and had to switch trainers... guys who got ripped... guys who got punched out... guys who don't train hard... guys who fell off the rails... guys who took years off... wild swingers... guys who lacked size... guys who lacked speed... guys who lacked power... guys who lacked a tremendous KO ratio... guys with many losses... and some guys lacking a lot of skills.
