I am confused.

On Bill Poole's record, underneath his only fight recognized by BoxRec, it mentions that he was killed 18 days after beating John Morrisey, by members of Morrisey's gang, in 1854.

...Yet it also says he died at age 62 in 1885.

How could he have lived another 31 years after he was killed?

Poole was shot and died just shortly after the fight in 1854.

Okay so then where it says that he died at the age of 62 in 1885 is the wrong information, correct?
