Haaaah...Ward/Kovalev in Jeopardy

Post by bnovelist »

http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/duva-ko ... ell-350255 Ward is already showing divaness not showing up

promoting the fight. Krusher did his part over and over again talking to the media promoting the upcoming fight. Ward is too good for that I guess

OR maybe it's shots fired 1st from the Ward camp brushing Krusher off like he's no different https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0vIeI-nHcA

How about we hear both sides before jumping to conclusions?

Roc Nation and Ward are notoriously difficult to deal with, and that isn't just coming from Main Events.

Ward wants the fight in Oakland, he says it won't sell in Las Vegas.

I was planning to go to Las Vegas to see it, but I won't go to Oakland.

What's that say about Ward if it wouldn't sell in Vegas? That says he's simply not a draw, and he's got no room to be making demands against the better drawing Kovalev.

As I've said from day 1, I will believe this fight is happening when they're in the ring and the bell has been hit

If Ward bails out of this fight I will rightfully krush him for doing so. Still think it happens.

Ward has been fighting dog shit for years now, anyone seriously think he's going to jump in with Kov is deluded.

Its not Roc Nation its ANDRE WARD that's being difficult! Damn Ward makes Floyd look really good right about now. Now he wont fight unless it's in

Oakland come on bro?? Are you serious? A fight of this magnitude belongs in Vegas. Krusher you better not give in!

Thank God! Hopefully we could get Stevenson/Kovalev instead.

Can someone please explain why Kathy Duva is so well regarded?
She, LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN BOXING, consistently makes decisions that benefit her first, HBO second, and her fighter third.
But whatever. Promoters. :brick:

Never expected this fight to take place. Ward's a ducker and will be looking for any excuse to avoid Kov.

Andre Ward fighting in Vegas? Against Kovalev sounds to good to be true. This fight ain't happening unless it's at Oracle Arena Ward's hometown. Plus there is other intangibles like Ring Size, Glove Size and whatever else...judges you name it...

He'd need to actually show up for that.

Right, cause it's her fault that Ward doesn't want to sign off on fighting in Las Vegas.

Everytime I either read something about him, watch him fight or hear him talk I dislike Ward a little more. He'll be demanding the fight is in his local park next with his mam as the referee!

If you want to fight then get the deal sorted. If you don't want to fight then bore off! Nobodies interested in this dullard unless he's fighting and even then.....

I hope Kovalev's people just say OK to everything but for every recession they make Kovalev promises to punish Ward just like he did to Pascal. Pascal insulted Kovalev and Kovalev didn't take Pascal out right away just to stretch out the fight to deliver more punishment... such a badass.

Oakland....hahahaha! Ridiculous.

If this fight doesnt happen because of that then screw ward. Truly pathetic if its true. This is a vegas fight. Plain and simple.

I've read articles with Ward saying he has signed his part of the contract, and said he was sure Kovalev did too. Then, I watched this video by ESnews titled:
ROC NATION'S MICHAEL YORMARK: NO SIGNED CONTRACTS FOR KOVALEV VS WARD; T MOBILE ARENA NOT LOCKED IN
