Lol, so Garcia is going to take off 2.5 years to get out of a tr contract and he and arum are going to make this? I don't think so.

It would be a great fight if it happens. I believe they split in the amateurs. Big mouth Angel called Crawford a made-up champion, and said him vs Postol was a crap fight. Crawford came back and reminded them that he beat the guy that DG was afraid to fight. Bud vs DG would definitely be PPV worthy, much more than the Postol fight. If I do remember right the reason they had to do PPV is HBO didn't have a time slot open so they had to do PPV.

Crawford will win easy but this fight isn't happening unless crawfords contract with HBO is expired.

Would love to see this. I think Crawford would whip Garcia silly. The look on his prick of a fathers face would be worth the PPV fee alone. The guy is a first class cúnt!

It's not happening because Garcia is just another modern chickensh*t "Champion" who will coast by on gimme fights offered up to him by Daddy Al Haymon. Why challenge yourself when you get 1 Million dollars to beat up on a no hoper once or twice a year?

You’ve got two guys who’ll probably demand $2m each for the fight, with Crawford only achieving 48K PPV buys in his last outing. So I don’t know how the fight can be made without Arum or Haymon taking a financial hit.

I think that this fight needs to be built up and perhaps there may be demand for this bout from casual fans by the end of next year.

It doesn’t make financial sense at the moment, unless Arum allows his charge to fight on PBC, because I doubt that HBO would sanction another loss-making PPV event.

I would pick Crawford to win, but it won't be an easy fight. Many folks disrespect and under-estimate Garcia, over and over, and he finds a way to win. Call him a chickenshit, it doesn't matter. He has heard it all before, especially before he fought Matthysse, who was going to destroy DG, then go on to destroy Floyd. Anyone remember that?

Crawford is definitely a better all around boxer, but think it would be a good fight not a destruction like so many think.

The Garcias need to close their mouths before Danny gets more trouble than he can handle.

Crawford dropped rounds to Gamboa and got hurt. Seriously once and bothered other times.
Where does this air of invincibility come from?

Garcia is the more proven commodity by a good measure.

I'm not saying Danny wins, but to give him less shot than you guys gave Postol seems off.

This fight never happens because of obvious reasons and once again the fans lose.

But i'll play along and fantasize about it. I'm a big DSG fan but TC is my favorite to win the fight pretty easily. Garcia would struggle with the southpaw version of TC and i think it would be a systematic beat down and Garcia's face would be a mess. An easy decision for TC but there would be great spots of trading in a fight between these two as both guys hate losing any exchange.

I can't see Garcia fighting Crawford next, and know he has a mandatory vs Khan after the first of the year sometime. Could be Berto vs Garcia, but I haven't seen anything scheduled.

Crawford vs Felix Diaz would be a good fight to make, and competitive too.

I don't like Garcia but he seems to fight to the level of his competition so I think he'd up his game against Crawford. Saying that, with the momentum Crawford has plus the skills I think he'd win a clear decision. Hope it happens but I don't think Garcia, or more importantly his dad, has any interest in fighting world class fighters anymore.
