If brook wins convincingly I'll issue a public apology for all the harsh criticism I've done and will get his face tattooed on my balls. If he knocks him out I'll name my kid after him.

He tried to play Canelo by offering to drop a few lbs for Floyd but not for Canelo. He tried to play Canelo.....now watch GGG get played.

Is fighting a big welter at your own weight getting played?

How can a last minute replacement be a cherry pick? Golden Boy picking Kahn for Canelo is a cherry pick, because they actively sought out a fight with him. Brook was about the 5th choice opponent for GGG after Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs and Eubank Jr - they unsuccessfully sought other fights first.

Whenever I read the OP words, it's like the Twilight Zone, and I'm buried in sand up to the neck while the tide rises and waves are smashing the face. At least the beach has a view.

Kell Brook might win, but he'll still not be the lineal middleweight champion.

What are you on about, Brook doesn't look at all pudgy.

He will lose anyway, but don't talk rubbish just for the sake of it.

Brook looks pretty cut up even before making the fight weight.

Brook gets stopped. Only 'cherrypicking' gone wrong for GGG could be DeGale or Zurdo @168lbs.

Kell Brook is the most skilled fighter GGG has faced so far, probably by far.
But he is coming up in weight without a big punch.
He also relies on being a bit of a bully in the ring.
Can he outbox GGG?

IMO, the real problem is
Alvarez, Lara, Cotto, Andrade, Charlo, Charlo, Williams, Harrison, Smith, Trout,
were all better options for EITHER Brook or GGG. And that's just 154.
(F*** the politics of millionaires if that's ur point.)

In fact, if you made a list of the 20 best fights for GGG/Brook's careers and boxing,
this fight wouldn't make the cut.
It's one thing to accept the 5th or 7th best option,
but something that isn't even top 20 ...
Sluts.

Brook has always had advantages. Massive weight drainer so he can be bigger and stronger than everyone, consistently easy opposition, those are just 2 obvious ones. The things that Kell is great at GGG does even better. Jab, power, bullying, infighting, it all points to a center stage ass whipping for Special K. If he does somehow last 12 rounds he is probably never going to be the same. The first few rounds it may not look that way, by the 4th-5th round it's gonna start getting ugly.

I don't think Zurdo is a big deal... I'm anxious for him to fight somebody like Badou Jack because Abraham was white washed a couple times during his prime. Brook will make for a better fight. He's 36-0, has speed, power and skills.

There's plenty of precedence for Welterweight Champions beating Middleweight Champions.. Walker, Basilio, Griffith, and Leonard turned the trick against pretty stiff opposition -- ATG Middleweight Champions in fact.

GGG vs DeGale @168 is the toughest test for GGG from 160-168. I hope it happens this year.
