It's been decided then. Warren wins purse bids.

So how does that work then? allegedly was insisting that he wouldn't work with the Eubanks again, only a few weeks ago?

Straight forward win for Eubank. If he really is keen to fight GGG next he should be facing someone above domestic level in preparation.

He doesn't have to work with them, he's won the purse bids.

I find this sport crazy, he has gone from perhaps the biggest fight of his life against GGG, to fighting Langford (And that's no disrespect to Langford by the way as I like the fight)

Very strange sport in that respect for me......

He doesn't. That's the long and short of it.

A lot of people have been saying that Eubank Jr shouldn't still be fighting at this level and that he should move on, but Eubank Jr is still inexperienced and a few more fights at this level isn't going to hurt him.

Winning the Lonsdale belt outright is still a major achievement for our fighters to aim for in my mind, but most people seem to turn their noses up at the idea nowadays.

It's nice to have at least a few credible British champions like Eubank Jr and Callum Smith as most of the other champs only seem like glorified English champions.

Seems to be the case. A lot of posturing and not a lot of action from the Eubanks. They must be a right headache to deal with! Sometimes just listening to Senior on the TV knocks my pan in!

I agree Horsey. The problem is all their talk. If they want a little longer they should just say so and not enter in to impossible negotiations when they've no intention of following through. Making ridiculous demands and wasting people's time. Suppose it's just the Eubank way.

I agree with this.

I have no issue with him defending his British title, or trying to win the Lonsdale. The annoying thing with Eubank is all his posing, his dad showing off in interviews, pretending they are going to sign a fight with GGG when they are not and coming out with some nonsensical rant about dollars dropping.

If you have no intention of fighting GGG, don't waste everbody's time pretending.

Yes, why waste people's time and energy with posturing and horseshite? Eubank Jr won't fight GGG, he'll wait for him to retire first.

An easy win for Eubank getting his Lonsdale outright I don't blame him nice belt. Then onto to world level against the easiest champ which ever that maybe at the time. Then will defend against bum of the months for the next 5 years before getting a massive PPV money fight with Saunders, if Saunders hasn't shot his bolt by then.

I think jnr is Golovkins next opponent. The interest will still be there in the UK and it's a big earner.

After Alvarez a fight with Eubank would make Golovkin the big money they are looking for. Depends on snr ceding some of his demands I suppose.

I really think Eubank will give GGG a miss for a couple of years ,, I agree with horse , fighting at the level he is , and gaining rnds under his belt , match fitness and experience is what there after ,, But the posturing , bragging and bullshit , is annoying but its keeping them in the papers ,, and everyone talking , which tranlates to dollars ,, Eubank snr is the master of this he done it for his own carreer and he knows how to do it better than most others .

I think Saunders will be the next big fight for Eubank , take his belt and defend a couple of times before going in with GGG , Like i said in another post , whilst Saunders is happy to do his fighting before a camera with Kugan ,, Jnr is getting ready for the rematch .

Sr doesn't want the fight, it's all just talk and posturing.

Many people writing Langford off here. He will be Eubanks hardest opponent other than BJS. i think it will be a lot more competitive than people initially think and wouldn't surprise me if Eubank Jr. Vacated rather than fight him

Langford is decent but has looked pretty average recently. He pretty much admitted he got a bit of working over by Eubank jnr in sparring, can't see it going any other way in the fight.
