Will be the first time the Commonwealth welterweight title has been contested by two Australians since Julian Holland and Shannan Taylor fought for the vacant title back in 2001.

FIGHT IS OFF!

Jack Brubaker has withdrawn from his Commonwealth title fight with Cameron Hammond siting a hand injury as the reason.

Kris George is putting his hand up : "I'll take the fight. I'll be right to go on October 29."

Horn :maybe: Why would you fight someone from Germany when you can fight for the Commonwealth title against a fellow countrymen who went to the Olympics seems the more logical choice and it would be more interesting watching that then watching the fight between an Aussie and a German with No World Title on the line :bag:

Cameron Hammond didn't delay in accepting Kris George's challenge :

"Happy to fight George for the Commonwealth title if it can be done."
