Betting for tonight

Post by jomothepure »

Despite Williams doing little to alleviate fears over his fitness/size/weight, overall betting for this has seen little change, with Skelton still around 4/9 and Williams 2/1.

Fans of Danny will obviously hope that Williams will have a good strategy up his sleeve for the brawler, but, given that Audrey managed to stagger Williams in the 11th (after near zero pressure in the rounds before) I think Skelton could see his workrate and accumulated punches get the better of Williams.

I'm not piling into this, but reliing sadly on the fact that I think Williams really is not going to be coming back to anything like his former self, I'm taking the 20-25/1 on offer for Skelton to stop Williams in 6 8 and 10.

Khan is 1/66 best price. With all due respect to Williams - he does hold wins over Carey and Thorpe (x2) - I think 2 5th round stoppages from unrenound punchers could see another early finish given Khan's increasing stregth and confidence. I'm taking 8/1 on a 1st or 2nd rd stoppage

I'm gonna go for Skelton KO round 8 or 9

What about Mosley vs Vargas. I think Mosley is a safe bet a 1/2

Mmm, I was thinking about that one too. Mosely was 4/6 but I think he is shortening now. I might go for Mosely on points if I can find it somewhere

Skelton will defeat Williams I am confident of that, but no quick finish IMO - Not an easy fight for Matt, he will have to keep his workrate up in case it goes all the way - Williams is the better boxer, but will he be lazy and just try for big bombs - Skelton could try to rush Williams and kop a big one so his usual style may not be wise - A late KO by Skelton or 12 rounds is my prediction

I'm pretty sure that Skelton will win, but 9/2 for Danny to win by KO,TKO or disqualification with Bet365 has tempted me to part with a tenner.

I have odds at 8/15 for Mosley.

Had a decentish size bet - Vargas looked gaunt and weak.

Mosley by ko!!!

Well - I won on the bet - but at 11/8 Mosley.

Won £80.00.

Thought I would have won more - but hey!

A wins a win
