I've not seen the fight. That report is heavily slanted. Was it as bad as that?

Yes terrible, it did not matter if he out boxed him or out fought him, the scores still went against him in the end, like it has with many fighters before, with major championships.

Gary Russell just got stitched as well, close 1st round ref warned the Uzbek to stop running in round 2 ,& 2 of the judge's still gave the Uzbek the round, Russell had the guy out on his feet in the last, diabolical !!

I didn't catch the fight but after watching his post fight interview I really feel for him. Disgusting way to exit a tournament the guys obviously put his heart and soul into. Wish him all the best in the pros.

Great photo that! Shocking decision you work all your life for the dream of Olympic gold and get it ripped away by a pack of c*nts who are at best incompetent and at worst corrupt. Gutted for the lad. But I got big dough on Shakhur Stevenson so every cloud and all that! Seriously tho it's a travesty abs I'm buzzing he showed them up for what they are.

I have seen every fight lads and believe me some of it has to be seen to be believed, absolutely blatant, The Russian that "beat" Conlan also lost the fight before to the Thai fighter and got that, people could not believe that one either to be honest. Levit last night blatantly robbed and about 6 more that have been dreadful, so sad because it's not just one, its the whole panel of 5, it has to be, otherwise it would never work for whatever reasons it is happening.

These boxers give up so much to try and achieve something for themselves and there countries and this sort of thing happens, I just do not know how these people go home and live with themselves, although I am guessing the Olympic size swimming pool and the Brand new Merc in the garage make these type of things easier to cope with.

Wasn't there a big article about how the boxing was fixed for this tournament. I'm sure it said Russia was guaranteed 2 golds

I cannot imagine how it would feel to dedicate years of your life only for your dreams to be taken away like that.

It seems to be that the medal allocation are divided up before the games even start - let's be honest, we (Great Britain) benefited at the London games.

How can you call it disgusting if you ain't seen the fight? Majority of boxers that get beat probably think they won.

If he got cheated (which is the general consensus) then how is it not disgusting? I'm only going by what I've read on here and online but everything I've seen screams that he's been done over.
