I think a peak Taylor is too quick for him, I'm not sure Ike brought the intensity to take him

Meldrick Taylor, as good as he was at 140lbs, was having trouble of making we at welterweight. He was slower and gun shy by the time he won the WBA World Title from Aaron "Superman" Davis. Ike Quartey was stronger and probably faster at welterweight. I pick Quartey by KO. Not because Ike had better talent, which he wasn't. It's because the weight does not suit Taylor.

Taylor more talented guy than Ike,but in this weight Quartey would KO him, because he hit hard too much from Meldrick.

For me this fight was be a similar to fight Taylor vs Espana

I see it the same way. Taylor loses not because Quartey had more talent, which he didn't, but because Taylor at 147lbs was difficult for him to move and be as fast as when he was at lightweight and Jr welterweight.
