If I were Khans next opponent I think I'd go for the rough up method. Anytime there was a clinch even for a second Khan complained. I'd introduce him to the rougher side of boxing and let him him know he's not in the amateurs anymore and use some serious frustration tactics. Hit and hold, pull his head down, push him etc, see if you can unsettle Khan.

I would like to see him stop looking at the ref and complaining all the time too. I noticed him doing this in a previous fight.

Expected performance from Khan. Super fast hands, and when he rushed too much looked sloppy. Next...

Khan looked extremely anxious whenever he was in a clinch, he really didn't know what to do, I'm getting the impression that as a fighter he doesn't like being crowded.

Only that last one was a knockdown, the others were tumbles not knockdowns, However you could see the way the fight was heading.

commentating was bollox, did he say - he was blown away with power? Yea well why couldn't he put him away then? And thats why Williams was having a good laugh 2miniutes later. And the stopage was bollox too - since when do refs step in on bodyshots

Don't get me wrong Khans talent is huge hes just not a puncher hes more of a PBF/Hatton sort of accumulation job. What were they like after 6 fights???

Khans very skilled and a prodigous talent - but world title shot in a year.

Amir will take 1year to get upto British level/WBU level and 3-4years to get upto world level.

I do think Khan has power since when he lands clean every opponent he has faced seems to wobble but he is fighting push overs and will probably lose power as he steps up.

Also if they want to test Khan I think they should put him in with the likes Bosworth or Barrett or even Lynes or Augustus. I think his ability is good enough to make that step up early and he'll need to if he invisions early title glory.

Khan will only GAIN power. He has done all that he could in these fights, even a big renowned puncher sometimes needs 12 rounds to do the business. Khan has limited time in these short fights to execute KOs, but is still damaging opponents sufficiently. He is very very fast and without doubt has plenty of power in his shots. Still growing as well :)

What I meant was that he is not fighting opposition good enough to make judgements on his power yet. He could be a KO artist or could just lose the power all together once he starts fighting guys who are there to win and can take a punch.

I thought Khan was a bit anxious/hurried in his work last night. Also he seems to push his punches a bit and it looks like they lack a bit of snap. Also while his legs look about right his body seem slightly square on when going forward but perhaps that's just the tv angle.

That said I think his power is there but it will take time for it to show in his punches. Also his footwork and hand speed is incredibly fast as has been said already.

Thought the opponent's standard was just right as well for his 6th fight.
