Why didnt Kaylor get a crack at the British middleweight title after his final eliminator beating Errol Christie back in 1985? He fought twice more in 11 months before facing Herol Graham almost 12 months after beating Christie for the Euro title. Obviously Kaylor was beat by Graham but surely he should have had his crack at the British title winning a final eliminator.

Was there a reason why he didnt get that opportunity?

Not sure why he didn't get a title crack, but I've seen a bizarre interview with he and his wife. It may have been just after beating Christie? and he was saying that he became depressed after every fight. Both he and his wife were morose during the entire interview. Bizarre stuff

I'm not 100% sure, but if I remember rightly, he signed to fight Herol Graham, and for whatever reason, Graham vacated the belt before they fought in 1986. Instead of opt for a crack at the vacant belt, he ended up fighting and losing to Graham for the European belt in late 86.

After that, I'm pretty sure he moved up to 175.
