Wasn't it Broner he beat up or maybe even KO'd?lefty wrote:I heard he gave him a black eye. Dunno about beating him up.TheLeprechaun wrote:Word is spence was beating mayweather up in sparring

Both. The rumours are that he gave Mayweather a black eye when Mayweather was rusty having just come out of prison. The other rumour was that he knocked Broner out in sparring. Personally I don't like sparring rumours. Sparring talk should stay in the gym in my opinion.handsofstone wrote:Wasn't it Broner he beat up or maybe even KO'd?lefty wrote:I heard he gave him a black eye. I'm sure you'll have plenty of chances to see that in Broner's actual career before it's all said and done. He has at least 3 or 4 more losses in his future.handsofstone wrote:So do i but im willing to make an exception if the rumours involve that plank Broner getting punched sillygilgamesh wrote:I agreeThe Law wrote:

When you look at that Spence vs Bundu fight, you really get a feel for Frankie Gavin's level
He might have been the most overhyped Brit of all. I remember hearing all sorts of predictions about him becoming a world champ, as if it was a guarantee

Yeah I thought the same while watching it. Gavin's style is much more suited to the amateurs than to the pro game.TheLeprechaun wrote:When you look at that Spence vs Bundu fight, you really get a feel for Frankie Gavin's level

He's got no bloody power. I remember when he was on the way up and his record at one point was 12-0 with 10 Ko's or something like that. Eerily similar to Luke Campbells actually before his loss. The latter is lucky to an extent that lightweight whilst having some good fighters in it, it isn't as strong or wasn't as strong as 147.Boxerbeetle wrote:Yeah I thought the same while watching it.
