This nails it for me. I'm British, and I keep a list of Bad French People and another one of French People I Like. Yoka is definitely on the first list now, along with William the Conqueror, Napoleon and Johnny Halliday. But Yoka is so bad, I have put his name at the top of the list, in capitals and underlined it. On the second list, I only have Vanessa Paradis.Enlightened-One wrote: Assuming the US members of the forum couldn’t care less about this bout, you have to assume that British patriotism introduced an unreasonable amount of bias in the opinions of some of the people that have posted comments in this thread, since Joyce’s opponent was French.

Good try kid, but your comedic post is lacking in timing, material and delivery.olij999 wrote:This nails it for me. If I think a fighter won and didn't get the decision, by whatever margin, it's a robbery. Simple. Doesn't Matter if it's by a point or five points, a wrong decision is a robbery imo.Enlightened-One wrote:Your sentence contains an oxymoron. It was a case of your personal preference: workrate vs. quality. The fight could have been scored either way.

better to have tried and failed than to have never have tried at all I guess. I think general Schweppes nailed it when he saidEnlightened-One wrote:Good try kid, but your comedic post is lacking in timing, material and delivery.olij999 wrote:This nails it for me. If the wrong guy got the decision, and it was a 115-113 decision...and there were rounds that could've conceivably went either way it's not a robbery. Which would almost certainly be the case with scores like that most of the time.In the know 85 wrote:If I think a fighter won and didn't get the decision, by whatever margin, it's a robbery. Simple. Want to see someone robbed? Watch Joshua vs Camarelle in the last Olympics in London.

I disagree. I think it was a very close fight that could have gone either way. The one who was really robbed against Joshua was a Cuban fighter Erislandi Savon.pugilisticprofessor wrote:Want to see someone robbed? Watch Joshua vs Camarelle in the last Olympics in London.

I thought Joyce clearly won the first and last round. I gave him the second round too (although that was closer and more debatable). 3-0 to Joyce on my scorecard.
