Mitchell reminds me of the early Alex Arthur

Post by Cannibal »

In that he seems arrogant with his fighting style and believes himself to be a puncher. I also see the same outcome for Mitchell, they'll start him on the march to a world title and on that march he'll meet a good come forward fighter with a dig like Gomez and get flatened. Forget the puncher hype as well, his punches barely fazed the Frenchman in there tonight and he looked terrible IMO. The judges were also biased by the sounds of the score cards, the Frenchman took a 2 or 3 rounds from Mitchell and made a couple of others close but not by the judges reckoning who had Mitchell winning by a mile. I'm starting to wonder if Mitchell is even European level.

The one positive is that at the end of his first full 12 he didn't look tired at all after fighting a decent pace.
