Dereck Chisora to fight on September 10

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

He will be fighting unknown Bosnian Drazan Janjanin (13-7, 12 KOs) according to Boxrec. He will be fighting in Sweden.

27 year old Janjanin has one notable name on his resume, an 8 round decision loss to Alexander Dimitrenko.

What's he going to do, beat another 5 unknown European fighters and then lose another important fight?

Nothing more than a gate keeper, boxing for money. Would love to see him and Whyte get it on though!

He's having a comeback fight.

There's no reason to criticise him.

Agree. Nothing to be excited about though. Maybe he could fight Price later in the year. That could be decent.

Chisora fought Fury twice, Vitali, Haye, Pulev, Helenius, Scott, Johnson, Pala, Gerber, and Sexton. But here he's accused of being intend on only fighting bums and avoiding a challenge. I really don't think he deserves that.

He really came to fight against Pulev. Did some good body work for pretty much the whole fight.

I was disappointed in that fight, I think Pulev was too good for him. The judge who scored it 115-113, don't know what he was watching.

Pulev was a class above but I don't think he fully expected or prepared for what Chisora brought. The pressure got to him at times. Chisora had the right game plan and stuck with it throughout which showed a lot about him. In the end, Pulev is the better fighter. Has the better outside game, great straight punches that landed very well. If Chisora had better power maybe his style would be more effective.

He's not a coward, but he's not being managed well. He's not had a good win since atleast 2014. He can easilly beat guys better than this, and it'd be much better for his career.

One of those guys that has found his level and will never go higher. Can win a British title all day long, 50/50 in European title fights, game and will have a go, but always come up short anything above that. Mouth will always help create interest.

Chisora Whyte makes sense, good luck keeping that under control
