I understand overcompensating for some of the absurd McGregor criticisms here, no way he's a match up favorite against Alvarez. Doesn't mean he can't win, but that gas tank is a real issue in that potential fight.
Na I've just seen your post mate. I'll check it out now :TU:

Cerrone looked great the other night.
He is great, but anyone he beats up for 15 minutes has no durability questions.

One of my favourites. Was glad to hear he's just signed a new 8 fight contract.

Definitely. Alvarez gets a bad rap I think because of what happened with the Cerrone fight. That was his first UFC fight. Alvarez is an extremely cerebral fighter. He reminds me a bit of GSP in the sense that he is so well rounded he will find your weakness and exploit it. He would exploit the hell out of Conor.

BTW, Bellator on tonight. Hendo vs Pitbull. They should be in the cage in less than an hour.

Shields is boring though, it is at least entertaining to watch khabib throw guys around.

It's cause he is so elite at what he does and being able to fight his fight against top opposition. Too bad he is so inactive.

What has happened to GSP? I missed a chunk of UFC, but not seen him around for a while now.

After his controversial win over Johny Hendricks, he left the sport because of personal issues. But everyone is expecting him back any time now.

I personally enjoy watching him fight aswell but I've seen a lot of people on other websites say he's boring and just lays on people. One of thr criticisms I've seen is thar he's wasteful with his energy aswell. Instead of just taking taking someone down and holding them there and executing ground and pound or whatever- he'll take them down, they'll get back up, he'll take them down again and then they'll get back up again. Rinse and repeat.

Also his striking is pretty sketchy lol.

He was pissed about the drug testing at the time and a bit burned out of the whole thing.

That's what's exciting about him though. Remember when he kept picking that dude up and slamming him again? That was awesome

Even though he's crushed a shit ton of cans and has no proof of being able to compete at the top level; I really want to see a stephen "wonderboy" Thompson vs Michael "venom" page striking battle. It would be like some Bruce lee- chuck morris shit lol.

Ben Henderson is looking more and more shot in every fight. He was totally non-competitive against Koreshkov, then last night he was losing to a 145er (albeit an excellent one in Patricio Freire) and won by a freak injury TKO. I dunno what happened to Bendo but he looks really timid and unable to pull the trigger now. He's only 32 so you wouldn't think he'd have declined that much from his prime.

I agree. They should match him against either Paul Daley or Douglas Lima next. They need to step him up now.
